It’s been years since I’ve cruised with Carnival. I just booked a cruise with them for later this year. I have to remind myself not to expect the amenities I would find on Coco Cay. Thanks for the tour.
There is no doubt that CocoCay is a nicer island. However, Princess Cays was really nice for a relaxing beach day. Excited that we are gong back to CocoCay in a few weeks! Thank for watching!
Thanks for Princess Cay tour beautiful island to explore WOW two buffet one on each side of island love the bungalo shacks for rental Great video guys !!!!!!! 10:56
Had a great time at Princess Cay beach. It was exactly like your video. your right the south side was very private and relaxing. Water was so clear and clean. Excellent WIFI and phone also works. The bar servers actually come to you on the beach. One tip: when coming back on the water shuttle, you board on the lower level and exit on the upper level. So try to sit upstairs if possible to exit a little quicker.
Currently I'm on Carnival Sprit heading toward Princess Cays tomorrow. Doing some last minute prep. This is an excellent video. It has helped me alot. I subscribed.
Thanks for the video! Cruising with Princess later this year and am happy to learn about this island. It seems pretty good, however, we were so very surprised and elated when we cruised with MSC and went to their private island. It consists of multiple places, many which are very private, the water is so calm and it's just gorgeous. Not too many of us seem to cruise with MSC (though not the case in Europe where we also cruised with them), but if you get a chance to go with MSC you might want to find a cruise that includes their private island. Nothing that we have seen from any other ship compares. Again, thank you for walking us through this private island, it's nice to see what it offers.
We haven't been to Ocean Cay yet. We are booked in the Inaugural sailing of the World America and we have a stop at Ocean Cay. We are excited! Princess Cay is nice for a free beach day. Hope you have a great cruise!
Great video! Of all the Carnival cruises we've been on, Princess Cays is one stop we've never made. Hopefully soon! Kim, is that a DJI Pocket camera I see? If you really like it, consider the Pocket 3, it's amazing!
It was nice and clear. We didn't see much. But in other peoples videos we saw them see turtles and rays. We just have bad luck lol! We did only snorkel on the South Side though.
We had such a great time at Princess Cays. The regular loungers are all first come serve. You can go to the Princess Cays excursions and reserve a clamshell, snorkle gear, floating ect. The one thing you need to bring is water shoes. It is rocky getting in the water.
We agree. CocoCay is better. You don't need water shoes, buffet is better and just bigger. But.... Princess Cays was nice for a not spend extra money beach day.

Have a great time! Sorry! We loved it on the South Side we wanted to share. We'll keep it on the DL from here on out! Lol!
Thanks for the tip about the south end of the island. We'll be visiting here for the first time next May. Thanks for posting!

Won't be freezing, but can get a little chilly. We were in the Bahamas a couple of years ago in February and it wasn't too cold to get in the water.
Thanks for the video..
Thank you for watching!

Thank you! Yep it is a pocket 2. Funny you mention that. I have been trying to talk Kim into the pocket 3. Just so expensive!
@@seatrippinwkimandscott the pocket 3 is amazing.
Hey there! thanks for the great tour! How did you guys find the snorkeling there?
It was nice and clear. We didn't see much. But in other peoples videos we saw them see turtles and rays. We just have bad luck lol! We did only snorkel on the South Side though.
@@seatrippinwkimandscott good to know! Thanks for sharing :)
So helpful! Taking our son there in September for his 13 th birthday! Can you rent the Chairs and umbrellas in advance ?

Thanks so much ! We are taking our son for his thirteenth birthday in September very excited
Hope you guys have a great Birthday Cruise!@@Dogzontop4567
We have been on Half Moon Cay 4 times and this June will be our first time at Princess Cay. Seems far less crowded!
We haven't been to Half Moon Cay yet. It looks nice. Princess Cays wasn't busy, but there was only our small ship in port that day.
Agree. I was at Half Moon Cay in 2010, and again in 2023. It was much more crowded the second time. We loved HMC but I'd like to try this.
We haven't been to HCM yet! On our to do list! @@jshepard152
And they don't tell you the swarms of flys when you eat!
We had a few. Don't think it was to terrible for us. Eck, sorry they got you.
Looks boring. Too much walking. Coco cay is way better
We agree. CocoCay is better. You don't need water shoes, buffet is better and just bigger. But.... Princess Cays was nice for a not spend extra money beach day.
I completely agree. I love Coco Cay. Princess Cays is a ship day for me.
Totally different islands. Princess Cay is great for relaxing. Room for both experiences in life.
Absolutely! Thats how we feel! @@LeslieB-ln2cruising
It's boring!
We liked Princess Cays! Relaxing beach day!
