You can pick up this Maschine for under $200 these days. I highly recommend one of these if you're on a tight budget. Havoc rocked with this for years.
I just got it for bargain price. Maschine is gear that I always want to have. But I'm not really sure about workflow. (I use ableton with akai apc and esx1, novation circuit og. I'm kinda familar with groovebox, drum machine workflow.) I check this before it's arrived. You comment make me more excited to get my hand on it.

I'm not finished yet with this tutorial, but I already what to thank you for the great effort and all the time you have put in this so far very interesting training.

Thanks for this video. I have a studio and I haven't used it for 2-3 years. I'm reviewing your vid because I can't remember how to do everything anymore. A couple of questions so far: 1. In the edit window, initially all your piano roll of notes in a pattern are orange, you discuss color settings early on, your edit window is still orange. Later, your notes in the edit window correspond to the pad colors (desirable). Can you clarify the color setting that does this? 2. I've run updates for the latest version of machine. I notice when recording if I rest my hand on a pad, but don't actually trigger it, maschine is recording that with a shaded area. It doesn't have any note data, or velocity but it shows I was resting my fingers on a pad during recording. This isn't desirable for me, it complicates reading that screen, and I'd like to toggle it off. I had never seen it when using before, it must be something in an update. I can't find anything on line about it. Anyone, anyone before I have to send an email to Germany?
I went to join your website but can’t read most of it because the text is black and the background pictures are dark too. Not sure if it’s because I’m using an ipad but I’m guessing lots of visitors can’t buy stuff cuz it’s unreadable. I really like you tutorial and thought this info could help you make more money
I’m on my iPad using chrome no problems which browser did you use? We are updating and adding new videos and samples I’ll be looking at the top browsers today and try to see what you see.
@@SampleKingsVideos when I go to buy samples. The top part has a white background but as I scroll down the list the background changes to brick wall etc. then the black lettering disappears into the background artwork. I’m using safari.
I thought this maschine was obsolete. I have an opportunity to buy one second hand pretty cheap, but was put off as I don't know if the software will still work with it.

Great tutorial, thanks so much. Only problem is the very low video resolution 360p is difficult to see the video & text properly.
