I have an Etsy where I sell sock plushies and cupcake trinket boxes and such, literally almost the same sock plushies. I can't sell them. I think it has more to do with marketing/social networking than anything else
Sorry to hear that, and yes, it often depends a lot on who you're marketing the products too. There is a ton of competition online so it's easy to disappear amongst other Etsy stores when you're starting out. I found that taking part in local craft fairs was a good place to start since you have lots of potential customers walking past you all day. There are many of those before Christmas, and you also have to try a few before finding the "right" one for your product. There are often craft fairs geared towards children or babies so those might be good places for plushies and cute trinkets.

I know I'm not Maqaroon but maybe I can offer advice? I've had a small online shop for two years. When packaging to ship, your priorities will be, in order, 1-the safety of the item in shipping, 2-professional packaging, and 3-cost. Your number one goal is to make sure your items arrive to your customers intact. If that means you need to invest in bubble wrap and boxes, so be it. If those cute mailing envelopes won't provide enough protection, you'll have to go another route. Depending on how fragile your merchandise is, consider checking in with your first few customers to make sure everything was okay. Your second goal is to make sure your shipping looks like it's coming from a real business. You should double check that your shipping labels are printed and cut cleanly, but you can also add little touches like internal packaging. I sell jewelery, so I invested in backing cards/tags, and organza (later velvet) bags that I put the items in. Presentation can be the difference between a 3 star shop and a 5 star shop, not to mention drives up perceived value of your merchandise. Very important. Now finally, cost. People will pay more for a better product, but you want it to still be affordable for your target audience to maximize sales. All costs you incur will trickle down to your customers, so it's important to be mindful. Shop around to get the best prices for shipping materials. Also, people tend to dislike high shipping costs so if possible, add a bit to the item price to keep perceived shipping cost lower. Sorry, that was super long, but I hope you have lots of success with your shop! Good luck!

I actually discovered the bracelet when I was in Paris 6-7 years ago...I went into a shop where they sold gold charms and the shop owner/designer made me a bracelet just like this one when I bought some of her charms. I thought it looked amazing and decided to learn it myself 😂

I made keyboard piece bracelets using Joanna's knit bracelet for a school "Livelihood Fair" (basically, we make or propose our own products and once they're approved, we can sell them at the fair, like a simulation of product pitching; also it had to be computer-themed for us so keyboard piece it was). Btw, I looked at the description and it said her bracelets sold for $10-15 and I'm over here just planning to sell one bracelet for 5-10 pesos (which is equivalent to a few cents in the US) but I guess she would've sold them online so a lot of other stuff stack. I'm also planning on selling computer mouse necklaces. 🙂
Is it just me or does this video feel strangely forced? Or that she isn't really happy? It's just the weird amount of jumpcuts after ever line she says, her facial expression that is clearly a very forced smile and right before the first ad around 0:55 you can see where she doesn't cut away fast enough and you can see her smile drop. Most of her other videos aren't like this and maybe she just had a bad day or something but I just noticed that it feels different, it may just be me though 😂😂

I was able to make a slime that doesn't stick to the carpet but is still stretchy I was selling it but Then I found out that slime isn't allowed in my school

A long time ago, my aunt sent me a kit for making bracelets, and it was really fun to make. When I finished a few, I wore some of it to school, and my classmates were asking where I got it, or if they could buy them. So it turned into a small business. Back then, I thought it wouldn't sell because it was "useless". But, after knowing they'd want to buy it, it gave me a whole new perspective of everything.
