    The name for Kohlrabi is a mix of two word stems, the thing itself belong to the cabbage family. It got a thick skin, that you have to peel, then you can eat it raw or cooked or whatever way you like. Usually tastes rather mild, but can be slightly spicy (similar to radishes or rucola) :)

    Double-decker trains are siiick, they carry so many more people! The top floor has the best view but the bottom floor feels more speedy. Worth the experience for sure.

    About sitting while peeing
    It not about aiming...just take a UV lamp and light your dark toilet with UV-light after using the toilet without cleaning for some few days you will be surprised where all those urine drops then actually are which you can´t see by normal light but you can smell..I´ll bet everywhere on the toilet seat and around the toilet itself spreaded because that´s how it is when you pee while standing no matter how good your aiming is..and that is what starts to smell...just give the UV-light test a try in order to get the real picture.

    The tilt window is actually quite simple. There is a mechanism hidden in the frame that triggers the mechanism depending on how the handle is turned. Depending on the version, there are joints on the sides of the frame and on the underside. When the handle is turned upwards, the mechanism in the frame moves so that a metal pin moves back and forth. This then engages in a slide in the counterpart of the window frame. At the same time, another pin is also moved which is located on the hinge side and releases it in the slide.
    Well, there are many things you can do wrong when standing.
    This video by Realer Irsinn shows that. Pissing incident in Bremen.
    It's about an expert being commissioned to find out why there were so many piss stains in the men's toilet in the state parliament.
    He did tests and came to the conclusion that the politicians usually misjudged the length of their limbs and thus a lot of things went wrong.

    5:50 There are some places in Germany where you can use "all year tires" instead, like Frankfurt/Main, where you nearly never get any snow on the road. But you are actually not supposed to drive on a snowy road without winter tires - at least your insurance will not pay in case of an accident. And in mountainous areas roads are often marked where you have to use winter tires or even snow chains. So no skiing holiday without winter tires.
    You should also not drive winter tires the whole year - summer tires are better at wet roads, and fuel consumption is also lower.

    • @Anson_AKB
      @Anson_AKB ปีที่แล้ว

      not only on wet but also on dry roads.
      and studded tires damage roads a lot when at least part of them are not covered with thick layers of snow or ice. Even worse with big spikes which can be dangerous to others (eg on accidents) and are only useful eg on bike races on ice.

  • @miztazed
    @miztazed ปีที่แล้ว +5

    Yeah, the double decker trains were invented back than to carry more people to work and back home. They still last till today. The Winter Tyres are not only for snowy conditions. They are also better for low temperatures `cause they have an other rubber mixture. If you ever watched F1 you understand how important the right tyre is to have grip. Aaaaand Spaghetti Ice is a real classic and real fun for olds and youngs. Yummy. :)

    About peeing. You can be go at aiming, but because of the height the pee falls down while standing, a high amount of little drops (so little you don't see them) are pushing back and do fall on the seat and elsewhere.

  • @michaelschuckart2217
    @michaelschuckart2217 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Winter tires: The rubber mixture is more important, than the profile. Most winters are without snow. But normal tires get brittle at low temperatures and this can cause a longer way for braking. Winter tires in summer are less effective because the material is rubbed off faster and they are less effective on wet roads.
    Double decker trains: The doors are as usual at the ends of the wagon. There is no second floor. But the area between the trucks goes much closer to the ground than at normal cars.

    • @Astrofrank
      @Astrofrank ปีที่แล้ว

      The profile is very important for the performance in rain. Even many cheap winter tires work well on snow, but will become dangerous in wet conditions.

    Even the US has double-decker/bilevel trains .. it's just that the US has such a low percentage of people using it and such a lacking rail network that most people just never use the train.

    Concerning the windows, I am almost 70 years old and since I can remember these windows were used in Germany.
    60 years ago, old houses had the old style windows, but in new houses even those days these windows were used.

    Apart from some ancient carriages, it can be said that the LBE double-decker trains from May 1936 are the forefathers of today's double-decker trains.

    Funnily enough, the double-decker trains in the US are far more imposing than German ones. Those Amtrak double-decker trains look like skyscrapers compared to a German double-decker train lol

    Poland is the second biggest country for exporting windows just after China.

    Studded tires are not allowed on public roads in Germany (and many other European countries) as they significantly increase the wear of the street surface when there is no ice. Of course there are exceptions. You may have them on your bicycle.

    Dude, if you have the technicals means at hand. Put a camera on while you pee and never miss the bowl.
    The spray coming out of your toilet while peeing into it covers the entire room you are currently in.
    So, sit the f down to prevent your own pee from covering about everything!

    Though now that I think of it Britain doesn't have them, so she'd not be familiar with them...

    I am not of the "you shall never pee while standing" faction. However, i feel i need to add to your "my aim is goooood".
    I will give it to you and even assume your aim was out of this world, lets say perfect.
    Do you really think the droplets will hit the bowl without splashing infinitisemally smaller droplets in various directions?
    When you are cleaning the floor around the toilet you will notice that this indeed happens on quite a regular basis. So i for myself, sit down on toilets, that i someone else has to clean.

    Just a little constructive critism i put on every reactor on anything, not matter the topic..if you dont believe something, or dont understand something...you watch a video online..just use your favourite search engine and look it up/fact check for yourself and go on. If you put your own 2min research in the video it will help others that might have the same questions and in return improve content quality. Doubledekker train? Lemme see. How does a tilting window work? Lets see. Just a minute tangent others might be interessted to see but too lazy to lookup themself. ;)
