I love the Corsa extreme on my GT with the Kooks headers but I must say the factory exhaust on the GT350 sounds pretty bad ass. I would do the GT350R resonator delete and see if you are happy with that.

New window tint looks great and the clear bra I think is always a good idea, ok it costs to have it done but it's a lot less money than new paint. New exhaust sounds a good idea, which brand was you thinking of? same as your old one or something different for a change.

After 7 years it has yellowed a bit from the California sun but has saved me 110,000 miles of sand/stone damage. It also saves those crystal clear polycarbonate headlight lenses from turning into frosted 'soft-white' bulbs. A wise, pragmatic investment for any 'New' or repainted/restored car.
Loving the new mods now rolling on the street you will be invisible to the naked eye. "They see you rollin, they love it, they see you ridin mustangs." lol
I got 15% too on my GT. It's plenty dark, but not limo. As for next mod, the exhaust sounds nice as it is. Maybe just do a resonator delete? Some headers?

I took my 17 GT PP in Shadow Black to a race track for a 'laps for charity' fundraiser. Well, my first time on a real race track and never crossed my mind about rocks flying up. Yeeeaahh so i hit a bunch flying rocks doing about 110-120. Nice sized chunks out of the bumper and hood as well as side views. 67 of them. Yeah, i counted. I had so much fun that day it kinda sort of ended up being worth it. Next Mustang ill do the same clear wraps.
Track car and window tint don't really go together...Many tracks won't allow you to run some/most events, especially if they require you to use hand signals. But most will say that the safety workers can't properly see in your vehicle during an incident, so window tint 75% or darker is not approved. I have tint all around on my GT350, however it's the FormulaOne Air Blue tint so it's basically clear.
Jeff -- When the Whipple Mustang was crunched and then totaled, were you able to salvage (remove and save) any of the modifications that you had previously made to the car? Of course, you had added the Whipple, but you also added new wheels, tires, and spacers. You also added the Euro taillights and the awesome Corsa exhaust. I would hate to see all this stuff go to the salvage yard.
You know it!!! :) I love the stock rims too, but one of the sets will become a dedicated track setup. You know if I'm getting new wheels they're going to have to be on point to replace these!
Texarmageddon I half agree with this. If your making six figures you can afford a nice car that will retain a good resale value or get a barn find that has a good pedigree that would fetch a decent price at an auction
Love the car, looks fantastic with the tint!! I couldn't personally put anything that dark on my car though, simply because I can't see out of tinted windows at night. I'd be afraid to back up or change lanes and risk misjudging distance. Not to mention Georgia law is pretty strict on tint and officers like to write tickets for it. Yours looks killer though, really goes with the black roof!
RESONATOR DELETE ONLY! For now of course! EASY air intake and new tune will add 30HP if you want? I've seen the dyno numbers. Personally though after that I would want to do a 55mm double turbo install. What do you guys think???
First Mod for me would be Forged Wheels....No need on the GT350 for an exhaust system (beyond the resonator delete others have mentioned). Why spend $2K on an exhaust that isn't going to be much better than what Ford placed on it? The GT350 is one of those cars that come from the factory pretty spot on. Now if this was MY GT350 I would let the engine/trans bed in for a while and start working on the suspension...but I live in AR and handling is a priority here in the Ozarks/Ouachita mountains. Very nice ride!
I didn't say it was going to be a full exhaust, but one thing that bothers me with this car is the active exhaust. I think the valves should stay open if you hit the switch, but they don't. Not a huge deal, but you have to hit the switch every time after you start the car.

That tint made it over the edge sexyer such a beautiful car you have. I was glad you got the blue with black totally better than the blue and white in my opinion. Try looking into some wider rear rims to give it a rear stance, that would be great.

Beautiful car. Was wondering if the clear bra could've been installed from the entire front to the back of the rear of the front hood, thus no visible lines would show. Same for the roof..start at the windshield to the srart of the rear window. Again no visable line. Also how durable is the clear bra..does it start peeling after a year ot two? Is there discoloration after being in the sun year after year. I have a 1998 Mustang Cobra with a FORD Leather La Bra installed on the car when I purchased it new from the factory in December 1997. The 2018 GT-350 is drop dead gorgeous. From other videos I watched, to have the GT-350R rear wing ordered from the FORD motor company would cost $10,000 dollars. I wonder if there are other restrictions to prevent installing GT-350R parts onto non R model cars? I still think having that wing installed would be a fantastic look. Anyway a very sweet ride!
Dude you should have spent the extra cash and did the whole hood and roof. I got my car in December and did a full front end, hood and a foot back on the roof and it drove me crazy as any time the car got dirt on it you saw it on the roof where the clear bra wasn't. so i ended up having the full roof covered and its better now. I have a coating over my Suntec also so im really OCD but the coatings and wraps are worth their weight in gold the first time you hear a rock hit your car and get out and look and see no damage.
Part of the reason I didn't (besides cost) is I've been torn about possibly de-striping it eventually. I'm not sure if it's going to happen, but if it bothers me enough I'll have him redo those areas.
Thats a good point. You have mentioned deleting the strip MANNY times so its going to go, i think you just haven't brought yourself to bereave it yet Hopefully your guy who coats your car is understanding and cuts you a break when you take the stripes off and clear bra more of the car. I understand why you did what you did, its always a pain in the pocket book when you buy a new ride to get it to what you want..
I'm a Chevy guy, but it's been interesting watching your vlogs. I'm a car salesman so I felt super bad about your initial buying experiences. I'm neurotic about making sure any car I sell is pristine so it's embarrassing that those lots had cars in the conditions you found. What are your thoughts on suspension changes? I would imagine that's a consideration with your plans to track the car.
Thanks Pedro, it was rough, but I understand not every dealer is going to be like that. That's part of the reason I didn't penalize myself or Ford and still bought a GT350. As for the suspension, I'm in love with it. The car is insanely grounded and the magnetic ride is outstanding. This has to be one of the most under the radar Ford vehicles ever in my opinion.

I put AM 10" wide PP wheels and 305/35-19 Nittos on the rear of my GT along with the stock PP wheels/tires up front paired with 25mm spacers based on one of your videos and my car looks TITS!! I wouldn't have known about that set-up without your help. Great stuff. Keep your videos coming!!
yea tinted flims regulations differ from state to state and also from country to country. I have seen cars with full on 100% tinting but cops didn't pull them over. Unless he was unlucky and happens to bump into a cop with a bad day or an complete a**hole cop. They will force you to send the car for inspection and if it fails the test, you will have to remove the tint altogether and pay a 70 dollar fine. The fine isn't the issue here but more of the hassle to removing the tint and then reapplying an approved level of tint. I did a nano coating to my Subaru Crosstrek, it more of a permanent solution but it only cost me 450 dollars for the full body spray. It may not protect the paint from gravel or rock chips as well as the clear bra, but it protects the paintwork from the rain which ate into the paint on my previous car and left smear marks and streaks. Exhaust upgrade is a personal, as ppl have different taste in terms of the exhaust note. Titanium tip will match the rear end of the car although it may not affect the performance of the car. Any plans to make your car E85 ready? It seems like a tread because with E85 you can extract a bit more power from the engine even with stock internals. I not sure what is your taste on HRE rims but some of their designs seem to match the Mustang very well be it the Ecoboost 2.3, the V6 and GT. For track day tires, the Toyo R888R are like the go to tires for track use but yea they are not street legal due to little or lack of tread for wet weather driving and they are noisy as well. Since you drove the 2016 GT, do you feel any difference between the Cross Plane crank and Flat Plane crank? In terms of engine vibrations and the revving nature of the two engines.

Tint looks great and the clear bra is a good idea. The tint IMO is a bit too dark for nighttime driving. Love the car.

I go to flying window tinters in long wood, they do awesome work and have done all the tinting on all the fox mustangs I used to have and did the tint work on my 2012 gt!

I think a procharger f 1a, change the crank gear and on 17 pounds of boost it should make around the 1000 hp mark.

Orange Roush Axle backs for $500. Or if you want a louder exhaust and better performance gains get the corsa X-treme quad tip catback exhaust

The GT350 looks great. I appreciate your videos. I put AM 10" wide PP wheels and 305/35-19 Nittos on the rear of my GT along with the stock PP wheels/tires up front paired with 25mm spacers based on one of your videos and my car looks TITS!! I wouldn't have known about that set-up without your help. Great stuff. Keep your videos coming!!
yea tinted flims regulations differ from state to state and also from country to country. I have seen cars with full on 100% tinting but cops didn't pull them over. Unless he was unlucky and happens to bump into a cop with a bad day or an complete a**hole cop.
They will force you to send the car for inspection and if it fails the test, you will have to remove the tint altogether and pay a 70 dollar fine. The fine isn't the issue here but more of the hassle to removing the tint and then reapplying an approved level of tint.
I did a nano coating to my Subaru Crosstrek, it more of a permanent solution but it only cost me 450 dollars for the full body spray. It may not protect the paint from gravel or rock chips as well as the clear bra, but it protects the paintwork from the rain which ate into the paint on my previous car and left smear marks and streaks.
Exhaust upgrade is a personal, as ppl have different taste in terms of the exhaust note. Titanium tip will match the rear end of the car although it may not affect the performance of the car.
Any plans to make your car E85 ready? It seems like a tread because with E85 you can extract a bit more power from the engine even with stock internals.
I not sure what is your taste on HRE rims but some of their designs seem to match the Mustang very well be it the Ecoboost 2.3, the V6 and GT. For track day tires, the Toyo R888R are like the go to tires for track use but yea they are not street legal due to little or lack of tread for wet weather driving and they are noisy as well.
Since you drove the 2016 GT, do you feel any difference between the Cross Plane crank and Flat Plane crank? In terms of engine vibrations and the revving nature of the two engines.

Tint looks great and the clear bra is a good idea. The tint IMO is a bit too dark for nighttime driving. Love the car.

I go to flying window tinters in long wood, they do awesome work and have done all the tinting on all the fox mustangs I used to have and did the tint work on my 2012 gt!
