BSA C15 To Ardgay (39 miles)

This is the last trip on the C15 before the winter sets in. I don't want to take it out once they salt the roads. I have now generously coated it with ACF-50 Anti Corrosion Lubricant to minimise corrosion over the winter. I will probably do some repairs soon.

Excellent Hugh.. Just yourself on your C 15 surrounded by beautiful views. Really enjoyed this one and I will miss you over the winter. Sometimes you are escape to the highlands for me and the feel of the open road. It's the good decision to have a break over the winter, the roads get greasy and salty and you both need to take care.

Hugh, many thanks for your ride out videos this season I've really enjoyed sharing your adventures and look forward to next spring when hopefully you'll be back with more trips on the C15 and further scooter gourmet delights so you can put that new stove to good use.

Ian that is such a nice message. I will still take the scooter out over winter if I get a nice day. I hope to go north on it with my brother tomorrow. I don't have the same care over it. Yet it is reliable, never loses oil, has huge storage capacity and is extremely comfortable. Virtues that are sadly lacking on the C15. But the C15 has something about it that I can't put my finger on. It's a heart thing! You too take care over the winter. Let's hope fuel prices are lower in the Spring and this financial crisis is easing.

Cracking ride Hugh. Guess it's a downside to riding a older lowe powered bike in todays modern world, but a ideal bike to go out and explore the quieter roads .
