Hello. Please also make a documentary of the Ultra Rich Clan from the North of the Philippines also known by the alias Tallano Clan. They are ultra rich in Gold Bars and billions of dollars even though they do not have a multi billion dollar business like(San Miguel or Ayala Corp). The current matriarch even told the media that the bricks on the walls of their ancestral house are made of GOLD bars.

In regards to what had happened with the Royal Philippine Company, a certain riot over financial woes in Paris, subsequent disturbances over there and in Spain throughout it's violent waning years as a stable maritime Empire, and lastly British interference beyond Spain's metropole & it's colonial shores and harbors, in the RPC's final years resulted in the Royal Society's demise and the ultimate disestablishment of the Manila-Acapulco Galleon Trade deal. A cause for immediate centralization of the mostly unscathed Spanish East Indies and the long awaited opening of the Islands to global trade years late in the (First) Industrial Revolution.

The economy maybe thriving during the Spanish colonial times but the wealth doesn't trickle down to the masses. Most productive lands were owned by the clergies not by the local people. Majority of these haciendas were bought by the American administration from the clergies but instead ended up with another bunch of unscrupulous people. Hitherto, agrarian problem is still an issue to be settled.

Philippines 🇵🇭 was a powerful trading hub before Spanish arrived. Which is why Spain tried so hard to take control of Manila and Cebu trading ports. Manila was a tributary state to China and had trade. During this time China wouldn’t trade outside of China due to China’s centralism approach.

A booming economy that utilized the opportunities it was bestowed by Spanish silver & crops from America & Europe and stern discipline, the following trade setbacks Ming China and Tokugawa Japan suffered in regards to security-oriented isolationist foreign bans, and a bestowment of colonial technologies and beliefs at the expense of regional traditions. A better balanced deal than what occurred for the various Filipino peoples during their businesses with Imperial China at the time before the Mongolian conquests and the prior Bornean overlords.

And the Philippines is a hotspot for European colonial expansionism for being one of the oldest european colony in Asia and was forced to civilized in European standard by Spain they are easy to communicate which is why the British East India Company used Philippine as a port to expand and assert control to India and other southeast asian country, the French did similar in colonizing Vietnam and also hiring Filipino mercenaries. The Philippines should consider reestablishing cultural, economic, and political ties with Spain and Latin America by allowing 100% equity ownership of businesses and lands to Spanish and Latin American citizens that will entice massive people-to-people interexchange like migration and intermarriages between Filipinos and Hispanophones and reviving the usage of the Spanish language by making it as one of the compulsory subjects starting kindergarten level.

The economy of the Philippines under Spain was confined to the 4 sq mile area of Intramuros and a few sugar plantations in Cebu. The rest of the country were head hunters with stone age technology. The Spaniards were apartheid imperialists who never included the local Indios into civil life. Thats why the lingua franca of the Philippines today is English, because it was the americans who first thought Filipinos to even read and write.

Sadly after the American invasion all roots to Spain where systematically obliterated by the USA .
Whilst Spain in 1776 came in help of the North American Colonies when they fought for independence from the British , the USofA , just 122 years later , in 1898 betrayed Spain ( and the Filipino by becoming an occupying power ) !! .
Spain , historically deserves much better .
