To me, Fana and Regine have the most unique voices. Fana has that black-Americanish but pleasantly light tone while Regine's has that soo-feminine but "dragonic" "dolby-surround" character in her voice when pushed to higher levels. However, no doubt, all of them are awesome singers..

You know, for someone who is as old as Regine and been singing for 4 DECADES, this is proof of her skill. longevity, and vocal strength. She is battling with age, Acid reflux, and im sure menopause. Despite all of these things, she pushes through and that in itself is the reason why she is and always will be THE QUEEN. Other singers can hit high notes but let's be real, the emotions that Regine conveys in a performance is different. Many young audiences don't know this because they only watch Regine's youtube videos... but believe me, in concerts when you are sitting and listening to her, it is on another level. Regine is probably one of the or THE reason why we have Mori, Sarah, Kyla, Jona, Ange, etc........ so we should respect her because she paved the way for those singers and she always supports them. lastly, why is it when Celine, Whitney or Mariah don't perform at their best, people forgive and love them still, but in the Philippines when Regine's not in the best condition the hate comments flood the videos?? How is that fair? Mariah's recent performances have been so-so and she is basically just talking through her songs, but people comment how great she is... Why can't we do that for Regine. I never cared for Mariah Carey except for a few songs, and Ariana Grande makes no impression on me. Christina Aguilera is sometimes very good (although I remember hearing a really horrible Christmas album a while ago). Actually there are many really good singers in United States, but they aren't necessarily famous or well-known, but a surprising number of random people can actually sing really well, just like in the Philippines, probably better than most of the stars, but they don't have the desire or opportunity to make a profession of it.
