Hi ESR243, Thanks for your comments. This is our first video on TH-cam, and was filmed with Iphones. So the sound is not good at all, and there are also a lot of comments in the original sound track. So we felt better to place some music instead to provide a more neutral background. We have been filming some more along trips to Guersey and Jersey where we flew the Spi (an asymmetrical but we mounted it such that we can fly it in a quasi-symmetrical configuration thanks to Brad ingeniosity. Very nice boat! This is the first time I’ve seen a Boreal with two wind generators. Any details you could share would be appreciated. Lithium batteries? Optional freezers?

The renewable energy configuration is as follows: Li-Ion batterie 800 Ah (12V) 2 Wind Generators of 350W each Superwind 920W of Solar Arrays installed Fridge 2 drawers in galley Two Freezer Drawers in Technical Compartment. Watt & Sea Hydrogenerator 600W. Crossing from Jersey to St-Brieuc in close hauled in 20-25 kn True Wind on a sunny Brittany day, we charged the batteries with only solar and wind, with full autopilot "on", and fridge and one freezer "on" too, and one kettle of hot water for the tea. Hydrogenerator would have increased our battery input but it is a bit noisy at 8 knots and was not necessary on that trip. Salutations de St-Quay Portrieux, Fabule

So, they’re all masked-up (outside) at the beginning, but not the end. I guess during launch and masting the ‘science’ must have changed.
For a serious aluminum voyaging boat, these Boreals are just beautiful. Most of these types of voyaging boats are ugly.
