This fnf week 8 mod adds a creepy lemon demon version of the bf as well as the gf from the new week 5 christmas update. This battle Boyfriend and Girlfriend vs Evil Pico!
This is the finale of the battle against Corrupt Pico!
When chances of victory begin to look slim, a corrupted entity may exert the remaining amount of their energy all at once, contorting the host's body in the process.
This form is called 'Nexus'.
The corruption may harden and crystallize, making it better for offensive capabilities at the cost of losing it's ability to infect others.
The Nexus form cannot be sustained for long, the corruption will begin to erode away as time passes in this state, making this similar to a last ditch effort.
In this form corrupting others is no longer the objective, the only desire is elimination.
This stage is a part of the EVIL mod / Corruption mod which I am developing.

The implication of the new form is pretty wild when you think about it.
This whole time, the corruption was using every trick it could to CORRUPT BF, likely because it knows that BF is it’s best bet in infecting everyone who resists due to his unique singing skills- but now that he and GF are together, it’s lost the confidence to try and turn BF back into a tool, and now just wants him gone at all costs.
Yea note the description “in this form corrupting others in no longer the objective, the only desire is elimination.” So you may be right!👍🏻

And my question is that how is he the only one that got that form and others that are corrupted DIND'T maybe its because the blood mmoon gave him that transformación or its just that another trasformación that could make stronger corrupted people and they already have it inside their corrupted body
This new entry in the series just changed everything we thought we knew about the corruption… This means that all of the corrupted characters all have unique final forms and abilities and all corrupted aren’t the same. You and your team phantom have done an amazing work on the art, story, and music of this series.🙂
Despite how plain BF and GF's forms were they are still gonna get through everything together, especially now Pico is back.

It seems like this final form actually has a drawback. While offensively stronger its defensively weaker, if I'm right the corruption is getting even more desperate to finish the job, getting pico to flat out try and turn BF into mince meat

I really like GF's face expressions throughout the song, starting with explaining the plan to uncorrupt pico ending with the vs zombies stage. Coolest GF design I ever seen tbh

My favorite part, I'm not gonna lie, was GF's dialogue bubbles and her personality shining through. She's just a bystander in too many mods, and this one has her actively give BF the idea for a strategy to uncorrupt Pico!
Edit: Second favorite part: Brainstorm essentially being a 'victory lap'! The Corruption knew it was losing when BF got free, even moreso when GF got free - but now that Pico's free too, even the narrative knows there's no way the Corruption can win!
The trio is literally impossible for the corruption to beat, bf as a distraction/uncorrupter, pico as the heavy hitter, and gf as the healer

You can see it in the narrative compared to the beginning when the tone is all dark and gloomy and just sad. Then after gf gets free everything is like a normal fnf mod because they aren’t in despair anymore

Woah ok. So for one BF is apparently a very capable fighter, as we see him beat up an (evolved?) corrupted pico with relative ease. Second, we see that the corruption can puppeteer dead people- at 4:08 the corrupted tankman on the very left is missing his *entire face,* which doesn’t necessarily seem survivable. Maybe the corruption kills people normally? As said by the corruption in Discharge, BF’s soul is apparently ‘owed to them.’
If it did normally do that, Pico wouldn't have gotten back up. Seems more like regular zombies, probably awakened by the moon or something due to general supernatural forces unleashed. The moon gets associated with a lot in cultures, after all.

The addition of BF's cannon speed is insane, and we are abt to see BF's actual strength for once.
Edit: BF had a hole in his hand and smacked PICO out of his nexus form. Just a reminder, the nexus form is a CRYSTAL form around the hosts body. BF smacked pure crystal with a gunshot in his hand without struggle.

@@liamballs08 It had a fucking hole in it, and he shook it off like nothing. Even with the corruptions (almost) full form, and with a bullet right through BF's hand, he broke the layer like it was nothing. Bro is mad strong

Little details you might have missed:
Even though Nexus Pico has a crystal spear blade on his left hand, he can probably grow it on his right hand just the same (0:52). I get it, the constantly active left hand blade is done purely for the sake of coolness, but that's a funny detail. However, he executes the wave-slash move only with his right hand (2:29) and summons red spheres with his left (1:33).
1:57 After GF's advice, BF thinks about how he can strike Pico, given that one of his hands is already wounded and bleeding... wait, that might do the trick!
3:35 As Pico starts his stabbing move, BF blinds him with the blood from his wound (I don't think that's corruption. First of all, it's black and red, not any shades of purple. Secondly, how and why would BF spread corruption, when he is currently uncorrupted and fighting against that thing?). Isn't it ironic, Corruption shoots BF to lower Pico's morale for the sake of its victory, and in the end, it's because of that very shot that Nexus Pico eventually loses.
Edit: Pico actually ditches his guns, not spins them in the air. My bad, thanks to 8Knights for pointing that out. (found only two timestamps, 4:34 and 5:06, idk where you saw third one) That's even more badass. Who needs more mags when you can have MORE GUNS!

And another thing that I've missed, tho it was right before my eyes. 5:18, Pico looks confused when tankmen start to jump of the highway. I actually didn't noticed them jumping off when I watched video for the first time. Yeah, yeah, I'm blind af, I know, haha))

It's very fitting, honestly.
The first duel in this mod was Pico fighting off a corrupted Boyfriend and Girlfriend. Now, the tables have turned entirely.
EDIT: I adore that as soon as Pico breaks free, he starts blasting everything in sight, and BF and GF cheer him on the whole time with the ol' "Go Pico" chant. So good.
Only downside to this imo is that it looks like the corruption is immune to weapons like guns (I saw people commenting on that back during like the Gf’s Mom Vs Pico Week) so I don’t think Pico’s sharpshooting will necessarily be helpful against the Tankmen here

@@pacifistichuman82649 I agree that it's quite improbable, but also BF is canonically really capable. Remember, he's managed to dodge, deflect or mitigate every attack the Corruption threw at him from this point.
More importantly, I feel like it'd be a weird choice on an artistic level to offscreen GF's actual contribution to the fight instead of having her intervene in more blatant fashion, especially after showing (twice) she was more than willing to throw down in a direct fight against Pico if needed.
I hope we'll see GF go full power later in the mod, but for now I don't think this is it.
Did anyone else notice Pico hit himself in the face at 1:17? Right in the same eye that uncorrupted first in the last song! It looks like BF was able to save him by aiming for the weak spot on his face that spread from that initial hit. Not saying that BF isn’t strong, but it looks like Pico helped too!
Part of me wonders if that was accidental by Nexus Pico. When you move that fast, youre totally vulnerable to swinging your arms too fast and hitting yourself.
Not to discredit what youre saying, bc its also possible, just felt like offering a different perspective.

Well, Pico, Darnell, and Nene can die in one entry of their franchise and come back to life in the next, so our ginger assassin fighting back no matter what isn't too far out due to what he faced.

honestly, seeing how far this mod has gone is amazing. Originally starting off with something I just put off as something I don't care about, to starting to like it more when I saw Chiller, and for it to strike my interest once mum's week came in. Since then, it's grown further and bigger and been nothing but amazing. One of my favourite mods upcoming, and plenty of fan-made versions too!

Dude this Pico design is SICK, the aggressive, sharp, jagged art style change is amazing to look at. The fact that this is literally the corruptions last stand makes me excited to see others redisigns later on

I keep coming back to listen to and watch the second song and I can't get over how the gun firing animations are on their own strumline compared to pico's vocals, and how good it looks. It makes sense, we've already seen that pico's guns are the percussion, but to see it meshed so well with him actively singing as well is just delightful.

This actually proved my theory that whatever Pico shot into BF’s hand wasn’t a normal bullet.
I thought that BF just hid his hand in his pocket so we couldn’t see whatever it was, makes me curious of the contents of the shot itself.
Maybe it’s a corrupt shot? A shot that spreads the corruption maybe? It would explain its fluid-like nature, spreading along the floor after coming into contact with BF’s hand in the last song. Though, it does lead to more questions since it seems like the shot itself changed BF’s hand, since it is still leaking the black substance, but it’s not spreading either. Maybe Soul is holding it back?
Not certain. What do you guys think?

Alright, after some thinking through all your comments, my conclusion is that the bullet is the corruption, but it’s unable to spread because of BF’s immunity. I wouldn’t think the spot is BF’s hand is blood, since I think blood wouldn’t be able to be flicked so easily without the body having any hindrance. Hell, BF seems fine!
Final conclusion: the bullet and spot on BF’s hand are the corruption, but it’s unable to spread on BF’s hand due to BF’s immunity.

It is very unlikely that it is blood, we have seen that the corrupt have abilities, bf noticed that he could use that corruption to his advantage, because it acts like a tentacle (something like what corrupted gf tried to do)
I'll be honest, I thought that after BF saved himself and Pico, all we had left in store was just a victory lap, typical 3 song weeks to uncorrupt everyone until the finale with LD... But JFC it looks like we are only just getting started cleaning this mess up huh? I did not expected tank man to appear my god!
Also it was just glorious to witness pocus uncorrupted just going ham while BF an GF amp him up with the "Go Pico!" Chant that was hype AF.

Something I genuinely love about "Blood Moon" is that you can hear the motif of Philly Nice which could be a nice reference to when Pico tried to save Boyfriend and now it’s Boyfriend who’s returning the favor!
I’m honestly glad to see Pico get the spotlight of his own solo song while shooting at tankmen with gf and bf cheering em on, guy was also the first shown nexus, and the first victim of bf and gf. See, this is why Pico is my favorite character
I feel like that last part has 2 motives
1. Introduce tankman
2. Give pico a solo to make him look amazing on pico day. (Despite having to survive an apocalypse)
Pico didn't have time to prepare in the og week since he was half corrupted even though that week showed us that Pico could be really op against fighting the corruption and that's what we see in brainstorm

A nexus form is when the corruption essentially ditches its corruptive abilities for more offense ones, changing the goal from spreading to killing. The corruption will contort its host in a way, and may crystallize. This allows for more offense attacks, instead of just rapping like beep ba boooop. However, this is temporary, and wears down the corruption, causing it to break down. This acts as a last ditch, but they aren’t 100% intelligent. This is shown where Boyfriend makes a swing, purposely not hitting Nexus Pico, but instead using his blood from his palm to blind Nexus Pico, to then take a swing. Nexus forms do not keep the hosts body the same when done, as shown when Pico breaks out.
But what if, there was more to a Nexus? What if one could..

If I'm right, the only reason why Corrupted GF had no "Nexus" form is because it was too DESPERATE to try and re-corrupt or kill BF, and thus, didn't think to actually TRY That ability.

The creativity that being shown after Boyfriend escape is amazing! We can see that the corruption is having trouble fighting boyfriend to keep control of their old hosts bodies as they use new powers and forms as a last ditch effort to corrupt boyfriend again. The fallen angel-like appearance for girlfriend and the new Nexus warrior form with Pico, it makes us wonder how Phantom Fear will use his teams creativity for boyfriends new opponent Tankman and his future battle ahead. Thank you Phantom Fear for making this great series that had helped us through Covid-19 and now , keep it up with the animations and show it to the community that supports you.
I thought they were trying to kill bf not re-corrupt him as he could just uncorrupt himself again and it'd just be an endless cycle
He's the main source of their power. BF is the reason why many people got corrupted, and I think without him, the lemon demons plan for corrupting the world will collapse. We can see that the only ones that corrupt anyone by themself in a rap battle were Boyfriend and Pico. Boyfriend is really good at rapping and his only weakness is something bad happening to something that he cares about.
When that corruption transformation came in, soul bf was probably like, “eh, not surprising he has tricks up his sleeve. You got this, man.”
Oh my god, where do I even begin? Phantom Fear, your Corruption series has evolved SO MUCH since the very first episode with Pico. Everything about this episode is so amazing, it might actually be one of the best videos of this series that I have ever seen, definitely in top 3. The mechanics (or attacks) Pico had looked absolutely outstanding, and everything afterwards is just perfect. Phantom Fear, you brought many fans together just from one simple reskin episode. And after every episode, your skill began to evolve more and more. And I'd just love to thank you for it. Thank you for giving us all these memories, Phantom Fear. Keep making episodes, and keep using the best of your ability! No matter how long the episodes take to make, we'll always be there waiting for a new episode!

I do have a question...Tankman is goign to have only one song,so that means is the next video going to be Tankman for the first song and then Skid and pump for the second song?

Has anyone noticed that their final forms have been in opposition to the characters themselves?
For example girlfriend is a demon, and in her final form's silhouette became very angelic.
Next is Pico. SPOILER ALERT:
The final boss in Pico's School is an alien, and Pico's aesthetic here is very alien, kind of similar to Mewtwo even.
Makes me wonder if Tankman's final form is just going to make him really spiky since, his only opposition is the Thugmen🤔
That being said: On top of the spikes, I really hope he turns into a literal Tank Man, since now we know they can develop weaponize additions to their bodies.
On a last note: This semi proves that their are sub dominions (Assuming Captain is the one that commanded them to jump off the Bridge for the sake of a badass intro)
I’d also like to point out the fact that pico usually uses his ranged guns, while this powerful form uses mostly melee attacks

It's interesting that Pico's Nexus state arms him with a blade rather than leaning into his ability as a gunman.
And then he can still blast you
I'd assume He realized the guns weren't working and so The Corruption traded them in for a more up close attack.
This episode was AMAZING. The introduction to this new Nexus form for Pico is incredibly unique.
So Nexus versions of characters are basically glass cannons, as seen from the description, they can attack pretty well, (except for Nexus Pico because skill issue) but seem to be very fragile, as seen from the part at 3:40 . The only thing that seems to be keeping Nexus forms from being super OP is their corrupting abilities, because apparently they lose them once they go Nexus.
Brainstorm is an interesting song, I guess we’ll be seeing the trio fight off corrupted tankmen in the next episode. Seeing as Tankman will only be one day and not a full week, (confirmed by Phantom I’m pretty sure) it’ll be cool to see what tricks the trio can pull off.
Other than that, I just wanna say INSANE work to everyone that worked on this, these songs were great, I enjoyed pretty much every part of this, and that merch though MMMMMMM

Ive realized that the Coruption makes one the Opposite of who they are, Corrupted Pico’s preference for Melee (while Reg pico Has more of a gun preference, Even If up close) and Corrupted Gf’s More Angelic “biblically Accurate” Profile, (literally her Opposite)
It’s Literally the Opposite of “other Infections” where what you Did in life affects it, like dead Island 2 or Fortnite (Stw) or example, where Beekepers Keep the Bees, Electricians Use electricity, Fatasses are Tanky and Bloated
Here is the Opposite, A Nexus Fat-Ass would Be Swift and Speedy or a Suicidal Person’s Nexus Form would last longer than a Survivalist… their Nexus form would be the “kamekaze/Burster”
Also, Nexus Pico’s Design Doesn’t implement any Circle Shapes, Even in the “Heart Core” (still sharp) unlike base pico that implements circles Frivolously (the Hair, Chin,Shoes, Etc)

I don’t think Corrupted Pico has a preference for melee. He just realized that trying to shoot Boyfriend is pointless, due to Girlfriend and his almost perfect dodging skills (which are at their peak while he’s singing), so he tried out slicing him as a last ditch effort. But I could be wrong.
Sheesh now this is the design that has to be the best that I've seen for the series. That final face off of Pico and the gang fighting off the zombiefied tankmen was so sick! There's no other right man for the job than Pico. Especially since he was able to take down hoards of Uberkids before!

NOTE: On Day 1 there was a pile of corpses that have the outline of fallen Tankmen (turn up the video quality and look closely, you should see helmet outlines as well as hands). However, at 3:39, on Day 3, the hand on the left vanishes the moment Pico wakes up only to find him and the group surrounded. With this in mind, we can guess what kind of power Tankman will have. Maybe his corrupted charisma can revive his deceased men from the grave? Who knows! We can also guess that the reason some Tankmen have their brains exposed is because of a possible explosion seen in the transition from Day 1 to 2 when Pico is toying with his grenade (he could've blown them away considering the pile of bodies is no longer crowded on the left of the speakers).

If i understood it right, the corruption basically revived the dead bodies of tankman's soldiers during week 7 which is quite fascinating.
in the developer's explanation, he shows that a corrupt tankman can control soldiers in any state, as well as: resurrect, do what he wants! And if the virus develops and in addition it will: strengthen them, bring them back to normal as before and make them corrupt, then it's like it's so dangerous that no one can cope!

The nexus form is the only and last strongest form of the corruption, but this is only used in a desperate hit to win and draining the energy in a single moment, this could cause all the characters that are infected to have or can use a nexus form, tripling the difficulty of winning, but it would only be a matter of waiting for the right moment to finish defeating the infected

So is nobody gonna comment on the fact that the "mysterious person" on top of the roof in the last video is now nowhere to be found? It almost looked like Cassandra to me, which would make sense since it's pico's week, but when they jumped away that was just that. A scout for a survivor group possibly? A researcher of corruption? a lot of possibilities here (Also really nice finale!)
It could be a new original character similar to Soul BF. I remember in the "vs Evil GF Day 1 episode, there was a poster of some jester mask on the far right when GF used her hallucination powers to lure BF into a trap. This newcomer seems to be wearing a jester hat if their silhouette is anything to go by. What their role in this series, I don't know but I feel that they are associated to the corruption

Okay, so, this tells us a few things, the corruption is evolving/mutating, and is can canonically just grab and corrupt and control straight up dead people like zombies, jesus, this stuff just gets more and more dangerous the more we find out about its capabilities.
Also Evil Pico's Nexus form design looks sick and reminds me of the same crystals that happened with "Corruptro", nice touch!
Theory; The start cutscene shows a black pico with white eyes, showing each character has a soul. It isn’t just the character’s imagination like everyone thought, but is instead the actual soul of the character. Edit: I have another theory to add on. Credit goes to @tomislavren1189 in the replies. His theory is that Soul BF meant he wasn’t real in the sense of not being a real person, and from what I’ve seen, we saw him again in Evil GF vs BF, so soul could be real in the sense of BEING their consciousness.

Un poco de lore sobre este Día 3 de Evil Pico:
La sombra que aparecía en el tejado al final del Día 2 sigue siendo un misterio (lo más posible es que sea MM)
En cuanto a la transformación de Pico, se ve que la corrupción ha evolucionado durante todo este tiempo, adoptando nuevas formas conocidas como "formas Nexus". Estas formas hacen que el cuerpo del huésped se deforme por completo y se cristalice. Son mucho más fuertes y agresivas que las formas corruptas base, aunque su duración en batalla es mucho menor, ya que pueden romperse con facilidad
Sería como si la corrupción supiera que está perdiendo y la única forma de intentar dar todo lo que tiene es transformarse
Una vez el huésped infectado se ha transformado, pierde todos sus instintos y lo único que busca es matar. (Esto último me recuerda a una frase que decía Lemon Demon en Discharge "You will die by my own hands" = "Te mataré con mis propias manos", lo que tendría mucho sentido, ya que lo único que buscan las formas Nexus es acabar con Boyfriend)
Un último apunte es que parece que estas nuevas formas tienen algo que ver con la Luna, porque vemos cómo cambia de color durante la batalla, pasando a ser una luna de sangre. En la transición entre los días 1 y 2, vemos que Evil Pico observa la Luna. Posiblemente la corrupción desde ese momento sabe que no tiene nada que hacer y se está preparando para transformarse
