I did shiny hunt both roamers in BDSP. Mesprit was insanely quick while Cresselia took a lot longer, but I still got it under odds. Definitely requires a lot of patience for this type of hunt.

@@jacobrobert0 No, this was the first game I ever shiny hunted legendary Pokemon. Both roaming and static encounters.

Congrats! I got one too after one interaction. Yeah. I was shocked.
Bold is actually one of the better natures for Cresselia once I checked her IVs which was HP, Defense and Special Defense. So I lucked out on getting a nature like that. This Tuesday I started my shiny hunt for Mesprit as well. 650 resets so far, despite you having a head start on yours by a almost 3,000 resets, but I won't get discouraged by that many if not more.

Congratulations! How did you get darkrai shiny before creselia? I know you have to release creselia before you can access Darkrai, so is that darkrai from a different playthrough/account?
Adter going to 6k for dialga and 8k for giratina im so glad my cresselia only took 316 encounters. Ive never been so hapoy to get a shiny in my life lmao

@@jacobrobert0 I just found shiny Cresselia at 8,126 encounters!!!!!!! This is the most difficult shiny hunt I've ever done!
Honestly knowing you went so high in the encounter numbers kept me going. I hadn't seen anyone else hunt this target and go so high for it until your vid, and that helped me decide I could do it!

Congrats, after 6742 SR for shiny palkia I decided to use blink rng to get cresselia because didn’t have the mental strength to do this the normal way
Actually it is Route 208 by the West of Hearthome City, and the Route connected South of it is 212. But it is thanks to your method that finding Cresselia is a bit easier to locate. 2,100 Resets so far but she has not appeared yet as a shiny. But that's not going to stop me from getting her in her rare color.

@@jacobrobert0 2,500 resets so far. I also have a Modest Synchronizer that doubles as my Teleport mon who is at most level 50 so the Max Repel can weed her out from the lower leveled Mons in the grass or water depending on which Route she's in.
Nice! I enjoy the randomness of natures too much so no synchroniser for me. I am however using an illuminator in the front my my party for Mesprit and my teleporter is in my 2nd position in the party. I’ll be doing some Mesprit on stream in an hour or two if you wanna hang
@@jacobrobert0 good news! I recently found the shiny Cresselia at 2,988 resets! I didn't catch her yet but I did immediately saved to lock her in my game to plan my tactics to capture her. My good ol' Smeargle has Mean Look to prevent her from fleeing, Spore to put her to Sleep, and False Swipe to get her health down to 1 HP. Not sure what Ball I will use on her yet, but it will be a decent one.
I did capture her, but it seem the Synchronize doesn't work on Roamers as my new shiny Cresselia had a different nature than the mon I used to Sync, but on the bright side, she did get a decent nature of Bold.

The dive balls you receive from the man that sets you on the underground tasks. You have to finish all the missions and then he gifts you 5 if I remember correctly

Darkrai and Cresselia contrast so well, Best nature for Darkrai... worst nature for Cress... then again you could just mint it.
I have no intention of battling with either of them, so it’s really not a problem. Though I do like your take of them being opposites even in that way. Good eye

I'm late on this but how do you have darkai before hunting cressalia? I have shiny darkrai but was required to talk to cressalie first to start dark. Once I got my shiny dark I of course saved it. Is there a way I can still hunt cressalia ??
Yes. Make another switch profile 😎 I (obviously) have two switch’s. But I have two profiles with completed saves on each switch.

Yeah you could move it with home. Home allows you to move mons from one profiles save, to home, then from home to another profiles save

How many days did it take all in all ?
It’s 2-5 minutes per reset and most of the time I was double hunting it,
So it was between 118 and 295 hours of hunting.
I started the hunt on the 17th of December and got the shiny on the 18th of April
