Somehow I have never heard anyone sing so perfectly and with such charm as Frederik Elsner. I fell in love with various singers like Hyde, ToshI, Su-metal, Taka, Floor Jansen, and Marc Hudson. As amazing as they all are in their own ways, none are so consistently appropriate for their music, and none support such a major role in their band’s’ work as the humble F. I’m still wondering how it’s even possible.
I originally came from the France24 video about Tasiilaq’s problems with alcoholism and suicide. Then I watched Geography How’s video and was pleasantly surprised to see that he was friends with the Elsner brothers. Everything is connected I guess.
This video reminds me of my childhood. I too have a younger brother and we're probably about the same age difference as you and Christian. Forgive me too, but I didn't know badminton was a real thing. We messed around with it as kids but that was about it. Looks like you were way into it.
@@ranusaktiilahichik848 Yes, I'm Indonesian. Judging by the name, are you Indonesian too? It's nice to see fellow Indonesians discovering Nanook/Frederik Elsner
I still get the chills after listening to this song for 4 months. I dont understand a single word, but i guess my heart does :) Kind Regards the Greenlandic Dane :)
Ulloriaq Rafaelsen Hey, I was looking for a Greenlandic in the comment section, I was wondering if living in Greenland is hard, and is the language difficult?
@@DominicBlair The language is definetly difficult, idk about the living. It should be hard compared to mainland Denmark, a lot of people don't get the same opportunities as in Denmark. And everything is very expensive up there due to the dependents of import of pretty much every thing outside of seafood.
@@DominicBlair The languange ain't difficult if you grow up with it, and living is not hard either there is a port where all kind of things are imported mostly from (canada and denmark) so i guess life on greenland is the same as everywhere else
Like most countries, you should learn the main language and maintain a bi-lingual or tri-lingual education. If your region is not doing this, it is failing its people.
Smukkeste lyd.... god bless you Frederik Eisner

Can any Greenlandic speaker say what's the song about???...
Its about how he will never forget what he experienced and his memories about his childhood

All the footage is from Greenland?
The first clip doesn’t look like it. I’m pretty sure Greenland has no broadleaf forest. Other clips definitely look Greenlandic, though.

I don´t need to understand it because they do it beautifully.
Do many whites speak kalaallisuit in Greenland
