  • Ever wondered what it’s like to fly seaplanes in Alaska? WMU Aviation alumnus, Dylan Mardoian joins us to chat about his internship experience with Katmai Air last summer!
Established in 1974, Katmai Air is the premier air transportation provider for Katmai National Park and the greater Bristol Bay region of Alaska.
Check out their website here: katmaiair.com/
Katmai Air is excited to offer students, enrolled in a Collegiate Aviation Program, the opportunity to see what professional flying and living in the state of Alaska is all about. Through their 7-day internship program you will sit it in on and participate in ground and flight training and checking events in their float planes (DHC-3T, DHC-2, C206) as well as their PC-12’s. If you are selected, you will also be provided the opportunity to spend time in King Salmon, where they base their float plane operation.
