This was the last time he ever performed on stage shortly after he died but not after 40 years of performing music and shows including on screen.

Interesting that to the troops there he was performing songs from before most of them were even born, their parents era.
But he went out and entertained at his own cost because he loved entertaining, so like his style or not, you have to admire him

The night Jolson died he was scheduled to appear on Bing Crosby's radio program at 10 pm. on Mon. Oct. 23, 1950. He was stricken in his hotel in S.F. at 9:30 and died within the hour. Do you know what radio show he last appeared in?

He was scheduled to TAPE his guest appearance on Bing's radio show at the Marines Memorial Theater in San Francisco the following evening (Tues. 24th) >>>>"On the show to have been taped with Bing Crosby tonight (Tues.), Al Jolson was to have been paid high tribute for his recent Korean trip. Jolson was to have dueted with Crosby in a medley of Jolson hits with Jolie also to have soloed “Japanese Sandman.” Tonight’s taping was cancelled by Crosby and will be done Friday or Saturday instead. .(Variety, October 25, 1950) Dorothy Kirsten was guest at that taping..

The narrator sounds like Jack Benny.

Yes Sir, you are correct. Jack Benny narrated. Though a controversial personality, all the big names like Cantor, Jessel, Levant, Crosby, Benny, and many others looked up to the great Al Jolson.
