I'm in my second year of golf so I'm pretty well brand new but when I put down the 56,58 and 60 and started just using my PW to chip and bump and run I took 5 strokes off my game! Love the channel "Dream" keep up the great work
SALIM: I had the shanks BAD last year for a month and a half. My good buddy, who is a great golfer, a freelance coach, and wasn't around for that month and half, came back and told me to stand a bit farther from the ball and hit it off the toe, and I mean concentrate HARD on purposefully hitting it off the toe. Really simple but it worked instantly. Took me a couple rounds though to ingrain that process and get my confidence back but I haven't shanked a ball since. And you naturally just go back to hitting it off the face after some time without really noticing it

You’re bringing the club to far inside it’s causing the hassle to lead forward which is causing the shank. What you should try doing is keeping your arms straight back and just coming back down. I also changed my grip from interlocking my finders to a loose grip without interlocking. This helped immensely. After about a month or two you will get that confidence back and start feeling like yourself again
Don't overthink it and make it too complicated. Have just 1 swing thought...hit it off the toe. Your body will do the rest and you'll be in better positions and make better contact
