The first 2 movies were dogshit. Who expected the 3rd to be better honestly? The sad thing about this for me is that Venom was one of my favourite villains/anti heroes as a kid and they turned him, Carnage, and Knull into a bad joke in this trash trilogy. I probably won't see a better representation of them in movies in my lifetime.
It looks like they are doing the King in Black Storyline and it’s not gonna work without Spider-Man and the Avengers. Because they are the most important part of the story when they fight Knull the God of Symbiots.

I thought the first venom movie was decent. Not bad but also not great. I enjoyed it for what it was and as someone who read the comics i appreciated how they still managed to include most of Eddie's origin and the symbiote's lore even though they didn't have spiderman. Venom 2 had me walking out the theater wrecked cause i had no idea what they were trying to do. The story was all over the place, alot of the acting was phoned in and carnage was not the villain he could have been but should have been. With this movie, I'm going to go into it with the same mindset I went into Fast X with: this looks cool but please let this be the end.
