The main advice PT related is to just run a 1.5 mile at least 2x a week that way he’ll be somewhat prepared. BMT really prepares you for the test so you don’t have to come super in shape to pass but to be ahead of his peers he should do that. As far as ASVAB goes there’s practice test online and books to help

Went through MEPS for Air Force. Passed the written, just not the physical sadly. Also a thing you would want to bring is a charging cord, charging brick, and maybe external phone charger.
My son got shipped out yesterday but his flights have so many delays. They were 3 but he got separated from them . He’s probably in Denver now as there’s a lot of layovers to his flight instead of the original 1 layover. Praying all is well ❤🙏🏽
The thing I’m most worried about is the running so thanks for the advice I’ll def start running a lot more I do have on questions is a treadmill ok? I don’t have a lot of places to run in my town

That’s what’s up man I might see you here, you should always aim for a 100 regardless what you do but as long as you pass you’ll be fine. My final score ended up being a 95.5 but I wanted a 100
They go through the same basic so rules still apply but as far as tech school I have no clue I just know it’s very difficult training so good luck you’ll be good if you just stay focused and remember why you’re here
@@RawToastJ Bless your heart for the response. During immunization do they ask you or inform you that it's not mandatory when you are going in to receive the immunizations? Or is it incumbent upon the recruit to tell them?
@@Gud2B_Blessed there’s a set of immunizations that you have to get unless you have a waiver for them but as far as Covid goes that’s a whole separate day for those and they ask people if they want it or not

Once you finish bmts, you’re going straight to tech school so unless you want to buy some regular clothes, you’d better bring about 5 pairs of clothes with you.
At my base specifically you have the opportunity to but you start off with a roommate and share a shower but after being here for a certain amount of time you can move to another dorm by yourself
