An excellent point,women often do beat up their husbands or boyfriends,and it rarely gets reported,mainly because of the feeling of embarassment by the man. So you are right on that point. I dont think society doesnt care,but yes,most societies make a man feel too shamed to talk about it,so it stays a secret.
I suppose you are right,after all,my grandmother was treated very badly by my grandfather,and it wasn't seen as an outrageous thing. I suppose seeing it in a video,with children standing by,affected me a bit,but I am sure it affected my father,and as a result,he never did such acts himself,so this is how we grow as humans,best of luck to us all!

I have a practicle case of a senior female civil servant who used to slap her juniors for petty reasons. There is always too much hullabaloo for domestic violence directed to women but when women beat up men nobody seems to care. I know it is a question of culture because some societies believe a real man can not be beaten by a woman.
