Kid Cruz is one of the best "traditional" foundation bboys I've seen in a while. He's so clean while also adding details to moves you thought might be old hat. Big brains on small parts is fantastic.

i disagree. swazi crashed and slipped in his first round. his 2nd round wasn't that strong either. swazi's 1st battle was way better than his 2nd. weapon x rounds weren't strong as well.
@@zyradium Weapon X did not win a single round he danced. Swazi displayed a superior command of fundamentals and recovered from his slip much more deftly than X did from any of his many mistakes.
I was able to attend this event in person, and i brought my son. The Break Dancer contestants were amazing! But, what really upsets me is the judges. I would see a Breaker do an awesome move, and sometimes a couple of the judges aren't even paying attention. They even look bored. Which to me, they have this attitude to where these Breakers that are giving their best, the judges think they are better so they dont care. I was so upset. Red Bull One put on a phenomenal show, the DJs, the MCs, the stage, the overall event itself. But next time they should get judges that care.

Is it just me or did the bgirls look really slow and stiff compared the to their international counterparts; India, 671, Ami, Steph to name a few. Like they dont even compare. Nevermind bboys look just the same. If this is the best the us has to offer then they might as well create their own event cause they wont be at BC One Finals

Most the new gen outside of US looks like the same. Sure they can do incredible moves, but most lack originality - Every kid is on this power move / matrix movement wave looking like Physicx / Stripes imitation. Sure, US may not be on the same level in terms of generic power/tricks but I’d like to see anyone outside US out dance Hi Jack or Ives. Most do 5 seconds of crappy top rock then immediately jump into moves.. it’s a DANCE first
