Therefore they would once again forget their existence. So the cycle would continue, but in each one they would think they are the first.
Sort of like negative feedback i biology when something bad happens in the body the body tries to change things to bring the body back to normal internal conditions

Which means... they have no clue of the Targon Gods who grant their power to the aspects, they have no clue of the Celestial Dragons like Aurelion Sol. They are blind to entities within runeterra that would easilly prevent the watchers arrival so... is runeterra defended from this threat? Aurelion Sol made it very clear he does not like them. He destroys them upon contact even before he was enslaved. Targon is Targon etc. More importantly, who are the other celestial dragons? And do they also obliterate the void on contact
It reminds me that, when Swain takes a soul fragment from Aurelion, he talks about siblings, since he also told us about Kai'sa and Pyke, there is a chance that we also get some information about other celestial dragon in the future
It doesn't have to be a dragon it might be just another celestial entity that was brought to existence in the very start. Since they are came from the "Breath of Creation" the same source that makes Aurelion and the Watchers siblings.

Really curious how The Void reacts to the Black Mist seeing as both of them are pretty much the two evils of the universe. Would the undead be turned into voidborne or the voidborne be turned into undead (if they are even alive in the first place, which I assume they are cause their trademark is literally evolve and adapt)?
The Void isn't alive, but the Watchers are alive. It's kinda confusing the way "the Watchers" and "the Void" seem to be used interchangeably, but my understanding is that the Watchers are the ones doing everything that would be caused by "the Void." The Shadow Isles and Black Mist are entirely separate from the Void as well, I'd imagine that they're meant to bring several horror archetypes into the world of Runeterra, where the Void is cosmic horror and body horror, the Shadow Isles is more traditional zombie horror, and the Black Mist is plague-type horror. The Void would probably just swallow the other two whole if Runeterra were to be opened up to a full-scale invasion by the Watchers. Otherwise, they'd likely end up as corrupted, voidborn versions and function as another means of transmission of the Watchers' influence.
cosmic horror is always the big bad guy in all fantasy. In world of warcraft It' the old gods. which are basically te same cosmic horror from a different dimension that taint everything and there's no way to fight them besides banish them
I love this guy and his narration. Really good at emphasizing certain words and conveying emotion. His accent is so thick and it can be kinda hard to understand (only in very few moments) but I love this dude. Happy to subscribe. Keep up the lore hunting, brother! Cheers!
But there is a diffrence in that the world of warcraft was created by the conflict beetween light and the void while in lol lore void was alone till exsistance came into being from nothing( so far atleast). And also that other form of magical energy/enteties came into exsistence like fel and arcane was created from this in the wow world. While in lol it almost seems like two galaxies meet eachother. And one thing is that the light and void from wow world isn't sentient and are just some kind of law/energy that exsist. This might not be 100% correct has i ain't a hardcore lore fan and i just watch lore videos and such for entertainment just like how people read books like the Wheel of time/ LOTR
The transition from the void to runeterra, and even the instant presence of runeterra from the void's pov, reminds me of Evelynn's "I was always, and then I came to be" origins. Assuming that all demons have always been, and just take physical form when they have a purpose, would they also be like the voidlings? Imagine if the watchers finally break through being able to come onto runeterra without being hurt then every faction have to come together in order to fight them off demacia,noxus, piltover ,Ionia,zaun ,shurima and handle city all verses the void that'll be a good story for when league of legends finally dies let everyone go down fighting garen and Darius put aside there differences zed and shen this'll be a good way to end the game
i didn't know who wrote this story before this video, but if you have experience with the warhammer (40k) universe and you understand the role of the chaos in the warhammer universe, i can totally understand him writing the void so well

Thought the same, except that watchers want reality to end because it disturbs them. Each chaos gods from Wh wants supremacy for themselves making them ennemies to each others. Also, in Wh mortals are the power battery of the conflicted forces of the warp which is sort of an ocean of strong emotions, this makes one god stronger than the others temporaly. What is wierd is that in LoL's case it's like... mortals just annoy the watchers but are not connected to them at all
Slightly late to the party I highly doubt Pyke has anything to do with The Void. His quotes about the deep and what's beyond is just referencing the fact he drowned and came back and he thinks that when that happened, he reached to another world where there is no up or down (hehe).
There is a tip in game that talks about a device in Piltover that could locate anyone on RuneTerra. It says that the creator mysteriously died before revealing the formula that powers it. And this story says that the watchers perceive thoughts. So what if the device actually holds a piece of the void captive and exploits this power? That would be a serious reason to kill the creator. Vel'Koz mentions a particular female. Maybe there are more special individuals for the void. And with the device turned off, the void creature inside couldn't locate those persons of interest and pass along the information.
The beginning of this when the Watchers were frozen, that is from Lyssandra's story right? She is the main character that talks about the Watchers. I do not play a lot of Vel kox but I guess he does as well

she worked for them coz of the deal she made with them that she n her followers will get power,immunity to cold and immortality and in return she should help the watchers whn they come to runnetera but lissandra after getting powers betrayed them by sealing them in ice as soon as they arrive to runnetera and also kills all her followers in the process. In other words she took advantage of them n betryed them in end.
Dude I’ve been trying my hardest to get up to date with league because I just found the pro league 3 yrs ago and i just started this year getting into the lore or characters and stuff. I be so lost on TH-cam 😭😂
So the void is basically a representation of entropy, and existance complexity, and until complexity started forming entropy didn't even understand it's nature , and the void is "below" the normal realm because it's on a lower energy level, everything in the universe strives to be on this lower energy level, so the void represents just that, a battle between entropy and complexity, a mirror of our own reality.
Is till hope there will be at least one voidborn, that decided to fight against to fight against it's own creators. I'm sorry, I know I'm being silly, but I would just love to see that happen!
That would be interesting since with the direction the lore is going there will be a big battle for Runeterra where the Void will be defeated. And they can't kill the voidborn that are champions so that would be an option as you said. But even if a battle doesn't happen or the death of Watchers etc. It would be a interesting character. A monster created to destroy and kill learns about the life and the world before him and in the same time discovers him self. That theme is missing in league right now. A character that escaped from some brainwashing or a being that is made to do something bad and ends up doing good.
what i dont understand is why the void wants to destroy the physical realm when they finally realized it gave them meaning and realization of existance. also why is runeterra the only place they care about? wouldnt other planes/stars also be beacons for them?.
At this point If I was on Runeterra, I would just side with the Void like Malhazar cause I can sympathize with trying to sleep and then being abruptly woken up by an annoying relative.
Just a theory though.. what if aurelions twin existence is the void? Since aurelions role was to create, the void must be destruction. Aurelions creations(constellations) are alive, maybe the void also has its own living things.
I don’t think that the void will accomplish what it wants. They have never known they where alive, it was peaceful, and goal was never a thing. Now they have learned much, never forgetting, wanting more.

Thought the same, except that watchers want reality to end because it disturbs them. Each chaos gods from Wh wants supremacy for themselves making them ennemies to each others. Also, in Wh mortals are the power battery of the conflicted forces of the warp which is sort of an ocean of strong emotions, this makes one god stronger than the others temporaly. What is wierd is that in LoL's case it's like... mortals just annoy the watchers but are not connected to them at all

I highly doubt Pyke has anything to do with The Void. His quotes about the deep and what's beyond is just referencing the fact he drowned and came back and he thinks that when that happened, he reached to another world where there is no up or down (hehe).

There is a tip in game that talks about a device in Piltover that could locate anyone on RuneTerra. It says that the creator mysteriously died before revealing the formula that powers it.
And this story says that the watchers perceive thoughts. So what if the device actually holds a piece of the void captive and exploits this power?
That would be a serious reason to kill the creator. Vel'Koz mentions a particular female. Maybe there are more special individuals for the void. And with the device turned off, the void creature inside couldn't locate those persons of interest and pass along the information.
The special female is the wife of the guy Vel'Koz killed in the story

she worked for them coz of the deal she made with them that she n her followers will get power,immunity to cold and immortality and in return she should help the watchers whn they come to runnetera but lissandra after getting powers betrayed them by sealing them in ice as soon as they arrive to runnetera and also kills all her followers in the process. In other words she took advantage of them n betryed them in end.

So the void is basically a representation of entropy, and existance complexity, and until complexity started forming entropy didn't even understand it's nature , and the void is "below" the normal realm because it's on a lower energy level, everything in the universe strives to be on this lower energy level, so the void represents just that, a battle between entropy and complexity, a mirror of our own reality.

That would be interesting since with the direction the lore is going there will be a big battle for Runeterra where the Void will be defeated. And they can't kill the voidborn that are champions so that would be an option as you said. But even if a battle doesn't happen or the death of Watchers etc. It would be a interesting character. A monster created to destroy and kill learns about the life and the world before him and in the same time discovers him self. That theme is missing in league right now. A character that escaped from some brainwashing or a being that is made to do something bad and ends up doing good.

At this point If I was on Runeterra, I would just side with the Void like Malhazar cause I can sympathize with trying to sleep and then being abruptly woken up by an annoying relative.
Just a theory though.. what if aurelions twin existence is the void? Since aurelions role was to create, the void must be destruction. Aurelions creations(constellations) are alive, maybe the void also has its own living things.
I don’t think that the void will accomplish what it wants. They have never known they where alive, it was peaceful, and goal was never a thing. Now they have learned much, never forgetting, wanting more.
