When the game came out one of the reviewers who didn't like it was Dean Takahashi. If you don't know who that is just search "Dean Takahashi Doom Eternal gameplay" and it will tell you all you'll need to know.
Prediction: stealth kills are king. Smoke bombs and flash bangs are going to be crutches HARD. And the executioner skill is going to be obtained as early as possible.
I'm just seeing this 2yrs later but in the game during Nero missions O'Brian explains that freakers are evolving and getting more acclimated to the environment I noticed this too but heard him say this. They also are harder to kill at night or in the cold like snow. Reachers come out later game theyre tough and fast sob's. And if you go to the edge of hotsprings very top north in the hotel backside rooms theyre locked but climb through back window and you get tons of throwable loot that respawns like every in game day or so. Before the broken bridge past nero checkpoint same area I think it's the house past the farm, jump through the window west side with hay bales under it its got the same throwable loot. Pipe bombs grenades attractor bomb land mines health kit exc..

(1) (2) This game has something from RDR2, it has some special vibe to it, maybe even more than RDR weirdly enough, it has some kind of relaxing atmosphere, the beautiful landscape and visuals, the fluidity of the control of your motorbike which just feels good and complex and polished, such a hidden gem, it has a lot in it, such a sad waste Sony just threw the freaking soul of everyone at the trash bin with the outrageous excuse that it did not had the success of Fortnite for example... Is just sad, and I thought Sony really cares about quality and know how to treat it... I m so happy Sony is crying money because of Concord and that stupid game everyone was praising like the sheep, before a silly launcher that lots of games have
I killed both bears on survive II using only fuel cans, barrels and propane tanks LOL (Yeah, I too think this game is to easy to not making fun with it). You can set bear on fire and then blow him up for extra damage multiplier.
The reason it supposedly flopped is garbage reviewers that never actually played the game , didn't get a free copy to review and did not get payed to give a good review ..
