It's not you but sin that dwells in you. YOU are Not the Sin. Rom 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 1 john 15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. 17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. You are not the one but Sin in you. Keep Listening you have a new Identity in Christ do not Identify with the old you. Believe in the Christ in you.
To stop that addiction first embrace that you are perfect in Jesus Christ. Then from with you will overcome.. Practically means, being still (mediation) and accepting your perfection. Who are you ?
Paul was crucified with Christ ,was a personal experience he had ,was not automatic and it does not mean you are crucified with Christ ,you must die daily till you are crucified ,nothing is automatic or theoretical
Maybe you should turn off the picture and just listen to some truth.....like "Love one another". Jesus was a pretty cool dresser....seamless garment and all. Get truth bro!
