Thanks for the mention again! Work has started and looking good so far looks like I'm not too far from where you are. These 2 builds will be out before it might be out just after release!
Hooray,Eureka, the new improved model Ninja has seen the light (16:44 pt5 RFM K.Tiger build ) ¬`Life is too short for these little nadjery bits that no one is going too see` - My sentiments exactly - `My model , My way` . Good on ye Nigel ,modelling is a joy not a punishment .
I still remember Dragon's premium kits back in the day. Perfectly packed and shaped already PE mesh. More than a decade ago. Way ahead of some of the modern manufacturers
GREAT...........this is like the Takom kit ........ the ``what if`` version with the massive gun, brilliant kit, you can't beat a KT it's so good looking.......i always show the side fenders half removed, looks miles more awesome to see the track in view........the KT is in my top 10 best kits..... and very easy to build compared to Yamato at 1/700
To be honest Nige I would rather spend the time used to build up the fiddly main-gun breech on doing the PE fenders and sideskirts with battle damage instead, these are visible and will add to the overall look of the model. The exterior part of the main gun I would just pin to the turret front. 🙂 Nice to have the option, though, in case I want to model the turret blown off. Love how well your model is turning out. ❤️👍🏻 Hugs for Dottie.
I can never understand full breach in akut with no interior. You don't see anything when uis all together. One thing that a lot of armor modelers do not do when it comes to deck screens on German tanks is that they they kind of drape over where the screen is. A cool little thing to do is get a paint brush and use the rear of it and roll over the area of screen that does'nt lay on the bars under the screens. You might have a little sag in the larger anti grenade screans that go over the hull screans under the turret. Hope that helps

Have a great build.
I like building any complex hidden parts with intricate PE detail in RFM kits, only time everything goes perfectly.
