I had the same experience when I first got saved for over a year and it was extremely hard. I believe the evil spirits did not want me following Christ and was tormenting me (none of my family were Christians). It was not instant but I have broken through that barrier and can worship the Lord freely now and love being a Christ follower and operate in love and feel perfect peace. I did have strong believers break curses off of me, my bloodline, etc in Jesus name and pray for me very often and that helped tremendously. Also being water baptised really helped, also receiving the Holy Spirit. I did not have self worth before so it helped reading scripture that said "the royal blood of heaven flows through my veins, i am a child of the most high God, etc that reinforced how our Heavenly Father sees us. The apostle John kept his self awareness when writing Revelation, seen in the fact that he was asked and asked many questions (by/to his guides), not to mention the extremely personal nature of the letter overall. My grandmother was healed of bone cancer with a visitation from Jesus when I was a young child. It impacted my entire life to want to share Jesus with others. I believe everyone can be healed. I had the same experience when I first got saved for over a year and it was extremely hard. I believe the evil spirits did not want me following Christ and was tormenting me (none of my family were Christians). It was not instant but I have broken through that barrier and can worship the Lord freely now and love being a Christ follower and operate in love and feel perfect peace. I did have strong believers break curses off of me, my bloodline, etc in Jesus name and pray for me very often and that helped tremendously. Also being water baptised really helped, also receiving the Holy Spirit. I did not have self worth before so it helped reading scripture that said "the royal blood of heaven flows through my veins, i am a child of the most high God, etc that reinforced how our Heavenly Father sees us. Read "the Father's love letter"! You will have a great testimony one day. Jesus loves you. You can do all things through Him who gives you strength.

The apostle John kept his self awareness when writing Revelation, seen in the fact that he was asked and asked many questions (by/to his guides), not to mention the extremely personal nature of the letter overall. This wouldn't be possible if all sense of self awareness was gone. If this is the experience of the last great prophet, John, why does her experience not corroborate his?
