I began listening to Joni Mitchell in high school. Her lyrics and her unusual voice enchanted me! Her harmonies are full of jazz chords...very complex stuff. I'm picking out my favorites to record. And Chaka is correct - Joni isn't for everyone but she has captivated me!
Joni rarely sang this live. Even at the height of her powers. I love the acknowledgement of one musicians skill from another. The voice is so much more than range and key navigation.
Joni ain't known for being fond of too many other women in the business, but I think she must have loved Chaka Khan's take on this difficult and eerie song.
Love them both! My favorite Joni Mitchell album.
Chaka Khan has impeccable taste- a beautiful rendition of a great song.
The best of both voices!
you did her proud Chaka !
True. And not many can.

New fan of Joni and renewed fan of Chaka. Awesome.
I love this song and Chaka did a great rendition of it...
Very few people could handle this. Chaka rocks. did and does.
Such respect, skill and love...what a cover, one legend - CK - covering another - JM - oh my god how effing beautiful!! Thank you Chaka......amazing.
Love you Joni, superb job Ms. CK
Chaka does this song justice. Love them both.
Fantastic! Exceptional Rendition of one of Joni's Masterpieces. First class Vocalist and Musicians.
Gorgeous cover........gorgeous......
I never knew it was about Jose Feliciano
Love them both! Joni Mitchell is one of the best lyricists of the Century and Chaka is one of the best vocalists. Chaka's "Lady's Man" is great too!
I love Chaka

It’s not one-sided admiration. They are friends. Chaka has done backup vocals on a JM album. I presume at Joni’s invitation.
Wonder where this fabulous concert took place.
Kamasi Washington on sax?!
Yup!! Good ear.
Wow!
Joyful.
Joni is bad azz!
This needs to be edited for better sound. A gem
😍👏
Thanks 😊, for the insights, for, what would we do without "White Girls Angst".
Joni’s Native American.
It was San Gabriel Valley as opposed to SFV
