I think that there’s more than only one “perfect” person for everyone but once you find them there’s no reason to worry about any of your other “perfect” matches. I also think it’s not good to obsess over who is “the one”. For the most part if you’re meant to meet them you will so focus on becoming the best version of yourself and you’ll find “the one” eventually. I do believe its very possible to find “the one” but one or both of you don’t know it so the moment passes you by.

His other love language could also be gifts, he loves giving people gifts but doesn’t necessarily love receiving them himself. It’s best to choose a top 3 out of the 5 so it’s more realistic. No one has one love language. There’s a better quiz out there that will give you a percentage of each love language and gives you your top 3. My top 3 are: Physical touch, quality time, and words of affirmation.
