PAN & AADDHAR names do not match. why not use only PAN to update IEC. In PAN, the intials / surname has to be expanded compulsorily. Whereas in Aadhar, the intials / surname need not have to be expanded. Because of this, IEC update is not happening. I am getting a error message that names in PAN & Aadhar are not matching. For linking PAN & Aadhar in Income Tax portal, the same is accepted. Because of this, items will not get cleared in the customs. Please do the needful for these type of cases. Thanks.

Hi You must be a genius if you successfully registered as new user. Portal is awfull. Seems to be untested version . Their replies always come as RESOLOVED in subject when it is not so. When REGISTER button is clicked it hangs. Dont know what is happening. very unfortunate user of this website.☹
