Bro can I just thank you for actually haveing fun playing the video game and chilling with friends like how people did in the old games. Thank you it was fun and enjoyable to watch. I'd love to see more.
I hate when people say a fighting game is dying. Xenoverse 2 and Fighterz has lasted me several years because of the replayability with online and offline battles
Tbh I feel like those games lived because they are built to always be alive. Fighterz is a fighting game and fighting games have insanely long lifespans because they take time to learn. Xenoverse is a create your character kind of game and those take decades to die lol And Sparking Zero has neither of those. It's living off nostalgia and it's large roster which ppl are struggling to adapt to at the moment lol. I think further updates will keep it big tho
Steam charts is also irrelevant for this game. Pc is the smallest platform for anime fighters by a ridiculous margin. Xenoverse 2 had 1000-2000 players on steam while millions were coming back every month to play on ps4/5 according to reports.
@@stefanjuarez6565 i think MILLIONS is a stretch (a huge one because you're basically giving it COD numbers, and thats MONTHLY??? no way in hell, i need to see these "reports"), and thats not a fighting game, i dont even think it falls under "anime fighter", its pretty much an MMO/MMORPG, or just an RPG, plays like one too with quests and leveling up, stat increase, gear stats to a degree, recovery items, they even have their own raid-style quests you can do with people.
The problem with the game is that it has a ranked mode where players use the same overpowered characters online and when they win they think they’re good at the game they just don’t know that the game isn’t a fair game so they can’t win to the same teams online and since nobody plays any different characters they’ll lose and call the game trash
That game would be actually dead online, because there is no shot people who couldn’t deal with yajirobe in this game would tolerate the menace that Z Broly, SSJ4 Gogeta and Arele was in that game.

HELP THE COMMUNITY! Complete answer and improvements for the game survey (still in progress) comment your ideas: - Add crossplay. - Option to save multiple teams and provide more time (like 1 min) to choose the team in DP mode. - Penalize rage quitters with point deductions and award points and the win to the winner in Ranked mode. - Provide an option to forfeit in the middle of the game in Ranked mode. - Add more stages, locations, and maps; - Introduce more costumes/outfits. - Add more game modes. - Attempt to tweak vanish wars as they take too long if both players have Ki (for example, speed up the timing). - Make more maps and stages destructible and include finishing destruction with super and ultimate moves. - Nerf afterimage strike and instant sparking mode to require more skill points (e.g., 4 skill points). - Fix the corrupted file error that erases our save files. - Make alternate mode characters in the story available in any game mode. - Tweak the gameplay for the giant characters; they are too spammable, mostly in sparking mode. - Add coop mode (2 vs 2 and 3 vs 3 players). - Tweak quick search to find faster and better-quality connection players without creating a room every time. - Normal/player quick play match searches should be like ranked searches. - Add more episodes/story in the future (maybe alternate/what if... different from canon). - Make the share screen and share play options work on the PS5 for Bandai Namco games (it doesn't make sense why it doesn't work). - Add more split-screen modes and maps. - Add more official and older music and soundtracks. - Fix the random error "A communication error has occurred" in the game. - Add ranked rewards like emblems and titles after rank A1 to Z. - Add Brazilian Portuguese and Portuguese (Europe) subtitles in both American and European versions. - Add more characters (obviously). - Add Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and European Portuguese voices/audio for characters. - Add more ranked modes. Example: 15 dp 3-man, free 3-man teams, single dp brackets (1-4 dp, 5-7 dp, 8-10 dp). Keep the current ranked modes, just add these as well. - Make dragon balls obtainable in Ranked mode and have more rewards from them. - To solve the afterimage strike spam problem, reduce the time from 15 seconds to half (7.5 seconds), and/or update the skill points from 3 to 4, and/or limit the number of teleports during those seconds (15 seconds or 7.5). There needs to be a gradual implementation of these updates to gather player feedback. - Create unique character animations for perception and beam deflecting. - Remove or reduce skill point gains by depleting HP, good players are being penalized for their performance. Thanks for your time! DBSZ Community
Anime arena fighters are fun but definitely have an expiration date. Actual fighting games like SF6 and T8 have longevity and communities that support them because of how adaptive and engaging they are. When you say “fighting games” it’s best to put anime games into their own little category

But now yall can't wait even a few weeks for an update. Makes no sense
They already patched the game 2 week after release and fixed the biggest issues with it. If anything, them doing it so soon for a game that’s not live service is what wild.
People got used to the previous games being online play but forget that the main old school DBZ games were about playing with your friends on split screens
Its not live service you guys. IDK why people expected it have a live service life span like .....my guy..... its a regular release... release the game, release dlc, and the end. Its not suppose to get monthly updates, cosmetic updates, events, a battlepass, an a 4 year gameplan to support it an they never said it would be that.
Fork knife ruined a whole generation of gamers. The only games where player legit matters, are probably MMOs and stuff like that. Other than that not really. People still play games as old as Mario 64 and pokemon emerald, if the game is fire it's fire simple. If it has mod support even better 💪
Its not even the fact that it's not live service. Every game is always going to have a fall off in player numbers. And that's for every game. What matters is maintaining a healthy playerbase. And Sparking Zero has a healthy playerbase.
17 actually got strong from training with the Cell Jrs that escaped during the Cell Games. Gohan didnt vaporize them, and they have the same abilities as Cell. The Jrs escaped to that island out of sheer terror, after meeting SSJ2 Teen GOAT-han. 17 found them later when he coincidentally decides to live on the same island. So he got to train with 7 beyond-SSJ-level threats for over a decade.

Even kakarot is getting praise when it’s hardly a fighting game.
At least for me it's the opposite problem. In Fighterz, skill expression was everything and there was an answer to pretty much every single character or move or string. In this game it is unironically more beneficial to just spam sparking into unblockable ults point blank and ki blast spam for a win. It makes when you try to actually fight disheartening when the cheese strat is just more efficient.
@@atomskreborn5740 it actually does. Especially all the counters n the 6-5 different ways to avoid ultimate attacks n combo strings. Unlike in xenoverse 2 it’s just square square and X.

Nobody enjoys losing but at some point if you aren’t the best in the game and aren’t putting in the time to be the best you are eventually going to lose a lot and begin to not have fun.
Most of yall aren’t here to put hours into the game to get good yall just want instant gratification and an easy way to understand the game and beat other people. Thats now how this works

How yall gonna say sparking zero is dying after a month when people still uploading tenkaichi vids for 10 years 😅
11:10 It's funny that you say that because that form is really supposed to be his SSJ2 equivalent, and the next form is supposed to be SSJ3. And when he got turned into a great ape, he was given 10,000x the normal amount of blutz waves necessary to turn into a great ape, which makes Baby's Great Ape form 4,000,000x base (10,000 from blutz waves x 400 ssj3 multiplier. 10,000 times his previois form, 4,000,000x base form) meaning that SSJ4's multiplier has to be well over a 4,000,000x multiplier. With the way SSJ4 is explained, it makes sense since it's described to push it's user to their utmost potential. Meaning SSJ4 Goku slams Cabba, much less SSJ4 Gogeta
The voice acting goes crazy 🤣🤣
Playing with friends is the best way of playing this so please keep it up

Thank you it was fun and enjoyable to watch. I'd love to see more.
Game has more than 10,000 players daily = Dead
sure
And even that is on the smallest platform where people are mostly just taking a break until connection issues are fixed.
@stefanjuarez6565 YUP
People are just stupid
That is probably not even taken in to account the player base on other consoles. We really need cross platform play.

I hate when people say a fighting game is dying. Xenoverse 2 and Fighterz has lasted me several years because of the replayability with online and offline battles
Doesn't mean that they where not dying
It's just a natural thing for fighting games. Even the biggest fighting games go though it.
Tbh I feel like those games lived because they are built to always be alive. Fighterz is a fighting game and fighting games have insanely long lifespans because they take time to learn. Xenoverse is a create your character kind of game and those take decades to die lol
And Sparking Zero has neither of those. It's living off nostalgia and it's large roster which ppl are struggling to adapt to at the moment lol. I think further updates will keep it big tho
They were still dying lmao
Yo, them straight facts
that first match had me dying when he whipped buu into the rocks and killed him😂
When people pull up the steam numbers and say it's dieing it's pretty disingenuous.a fighting games with the 14 thous it has is pretty good
Steam charts is also irrelevant for this game.
@@captaincookie5325 you really wrote an article about you not believing something instead of looking it up on Google.
The problem with the game is that it has a ranked mode where players use the same overpowered characters online and when they win they think they’re good at the game they just don’t know that the game isn’t a fair game so they can’t win to the same teams online and since nobody plays any different characters they’ll lose and call the game trash

Let’s be honest yall, if BT3 released in today’s era, people would be shittin on it as well🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
That game would be actually dead online, because there is no shot people who couldn’t deal with yajirobe in this game would tolerate the menace that Z Broly, SSJ4 Gogeta and Arele was in that game.
@@stefanjuarez6565 Bt3 isn't nearly as broken as this game though. Can't back to back insta spark and there isn't nearly as many unblockables.
@@Codyslxthe brokenness of the characters themselves in BT3 was real though.

HELP THE COMMUNITY! Complete answer and improvements for the game survey (still in progress) comment your ideas:
- Add crossplay.
- Option to save multiple teams and provide more time (like 1 min) to choose the team in DP mode.
- Penalize rage quitters with point deductions and award points and the win to the winner in Ranked mode.
- Provide an option to forfeit in the middle of the game in Ranked mode.
- Add more stages, locations, and maps;
- Introduce more costumes/outfits.

Anime arena fighters are fun but definitely have an expiration date. Actual fighting games like SF6 and T8 have longevity and communities that support them because of how adaptive and engaging they are. When you say “fighting games” it’s best to put anime games into their own little category
This isn’t any other anime arena fighter. This is Tenkaichi. Way more replayable than those other mid arena fighters.
@@jesuspernia8031the most replayabe arena fighting games are Naruto storm games, they have the best single player content

They already patched the game 2 week after release and fixed the biggest issues with it. If anything, them doing it so soon for a game that’s not live service is what wild.
Bruh when cell n vegeta get on the scene the voice over got me weak 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Bro I legit said the same thing when I got to z rank yesterday ima need a break
People got used to the previous games being online play but forget that the main old school DBZ games were about playing with your friends on split screens
Its not live service you guys. IDK why people expected it have a live service life span like .....my guy..... its a regular release... release the game, release dlc, and the end. Its not suppose to get monthly updates, cosmetic updates, events, a battlepass, an a 4 year gameplan to support it an they never said it would be that.
It’s like no one understands the build up from Budaki all the way to BT3.
@@TheKreator98 its hilarious how they intentionally ignore the "healthy" player base part when they see that 90%

Afro get off your high horse, you pretend like you're something. The discord call where you went off on Dom was ridiculous. Sparking Zero IS dying, it lost 90% of its playerbase. SF6 still has 40% of its all time peak playerbase after almost two years.
It’s only 90 percent of the pc player base
Does it feel good to lie? SF6 has 20% of its playerbase and its the only fighting game in existence that achieved that. 15k daily peaks for Sparking zero on the least popular anime fighting game platform is anything but dying. You’re mad weird for going off on him like that for speaking facts. “Pretend like you’re something”… lmao, bro, who the hell are you. Get out.

Definitely play with YaBoyRoshi and Lupasan!!! I love watching their content and to see him pop up in your tournament was such a crazy feeling!! Didn’t know my 2 fav TH-camrs crossed paths!
I was a month late buying this game n I enjoy it. I think the reason why most ppl stopped playing , was cus they realized it takes more skill than previous db games (not including fighterz, ppl were shitting on that game when it came out) but I’m talking bout xenoverse and xenoverse 2. Even kakarot is getting praise when it’s hardly a fighting game.
It does not take skill to play this game. It’s the opposite
It takes skill? My man 🤣
@@atomskreborn5740 it actually does. Especially all the counters n the 6-5 different ways to avoid ultimate attacks n combo strings. Unlike in xenoverse 2 it’s just square square and X.
In all honesty it doesn't take as much skill to play the game as u think in fact I could argue that it supports the opposite
If future gohan wins without turning super saiyan bro says "whats wrong? I thought you wanted to win" in the most menacing tone ever.
its not actually
It is, not dead yet tho but that will hopefully turn around next update.
"Buu getting turned to pack" had me rolling😭
They only reason why this game is dying is because it’s an Arena Fighting game. You can compare it to DBFZ and you’ll see that DBFZ lasted so much longer than this game. Arena fighting games tend to never last that long.
At least they can’t last that long as they used to back in the day.
They can but online has to be reworked and etc.
lotus sama came back with it, love this dude
yea only dying on steam cuz cheaters also most of the players are on console

As someone who doesn’t own this game, the consensus seems to be the game is perfectly fine it’s the community that’s killed this game
Pretty much
Community plus balancing issues that Bandai is taking quite a while to fix.
@ balancing has never been a huge part of the Budokai/Tenkaichi games it’s supposed to be accurate scaling. Frieza Soldier shouldn’t be able to scale against Beerus for example. Which is why in my opinion it’s meant to be played on the couch with your friends not competitive ranked matches.
