The Hope of His Calling, Ephesians 13, 06-30-24, Pastor Gregg Bing.

(Eph. 1:18) Paul's first recorded prayer in the book of Ephesians is a prayer for knowledge; that God would give them a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the full knowledge of God and of His purpose for us in Christ. He prays specifically for them to know or perceive three things: the hope of His calling, the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe. This morning, we look at the first of these petitions, the hope of His calling, and show how it differs from God's calling and hope for Israel.
