    Great video. I've been following you since January '23 and I've won two contracts as well. I'm on my way to great success because of you. I'll keep you posted. Thank you ❤

      This is great! How many contracts have you submitted bids for up to this point? Just curious on average how many well put together bids it might take before being selected.

      @WandoTheMachine Thx Wando. I've submitted 10 bids to date. Today I received my 3rd awarded contract.

      @@kountrynotary7445 oh wow, That is awesome!!! Are you targeting a certain niche or just different things you think you are knowledgeable enough on?

    • @kountrynotary7445
      @kountrynotary7445 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @WandoTheMachine I decided totarget a certain niche to get started. That way I could learn the whole process from start to finish while also perfecting my knowledge of the industry (niche). Eventually I will start to branch out into other parts of the industry and add NAICS like Derek teaches...the umbrella strategy.

    Appreciate the proposal layout, I think this is why people don't submit bids ,this is my biggest hang-up laying out the responses

      I may incorporate some more high level stuff like this in the future!

    Is it possible for you to show how/what to look for in real estate/leasing space solicitation The breakdown of that process? 🙏🏽

    • @GovKidMethod
      @GovKidMethod  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Real/estate and leasing I'm increasingly staying away from. The solicitations are lease-language heavy and require an eye from someone experienced in leasing and real estate, not in govcon.

    Hey Govkid not sure if you have a similar video but when I send out quotes I also have to send a tax exempt form since the government won't pay tax's. This is on the federal level as well? Where do I get one of these forms since they don't supply it in the bids?

    • @GovKidMethod
      @GovKidMethod  ปีที่แล้ว

      You would see this as it relates to state sales tax on products. You can ask the contacting officer for the form or you can do a google search for the state the product is being purchased and their respective tax exempt form.

    How do you respond to Acknowledgment of Solicitation Amendments;? I don’t see where the amendment number is or the amendment itself .I know they want my signature & date & the amendment number but I don’t see it anywhere when I’m in solicitations

      Amendment number is just 01 or 02 or 03 depending on whatever it is

    • @Lonerrrrrr
      @Lonerrrrrr ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GovKidMethod so would it matter if I put either number you listed when acknowledging it ? And do they want me to list what was amendment? That’s what’s confusing me . I haven’t been able to find what has been amended or the amendment number

    • @GovKidMethod
      @GovKidMethod  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It does matter. The title of the amendment will have the number or it will be written on the amendment itself. If nothing else, look at the attachments to see how many amendments there are and look at the dates issued. When in doubt ask all questions to contracting.
