Social security, health care, education (including libraries, child care, basic education, maybe even universities), basic infrastructure (roads, postal service, electricity, water, internet) - these are things you don't want to privatize, unless you have good regulations that make sure, that private markets stay under tight control and therefore system will work for the people first, and for the profits second.
-> In my mind, it's just better to have all of them public, even if your country has some corruption, because privatization can have a problem with slippery slope towards tax cuts and multi payer system that makes poor, working class and middle class poorer and upper middle class and the rich richer, since everyone have to pay their own services from their salary, which were paid by taxes before, which meant that they were mostly paid by upper class and wealthiest people.
I like capitalism, but without a strong tax base and strong public services paid by all, capitalism will kill you if you can't compete.

Actually we do deserve a man like Bernie. We haven't had anyone like him to actually fight for the American people. .too many elections we choose the lesser of 2 evils and I haven't felt this way ever. Boycotting may help a little. However, a push to overturn Citizen's United, via Constitutional Amendment will be a much more lasting impact.

For all practical purposes, it requires 2/3 vote in House and Senate, then 3/4 of the States must ratify. Harry Reid nuked the Senate because he deemed 3/5 (60) vote to high a hurdle. 2/3 requires 67 votes
