You’re right about rain! We just had over 9” last week & 6” yesterday after over a month drought…that’s why they have ditches on the side of the road, otherwise the road would wash away!

I use to run that hwy back in the day. Our home sat right next door to the Baxter Grocery store. He used to set up accounts for the local people and we paid our bill off once a month. Times were hard back then. I attended Cosby High School. Popcorn Sutton also lived up there on Cosby. There was a little restaurant up there called The Front Porch that my brother and daddy played music for the patrons, it was a hot lil gathering place for a long time. I see some changes but for the most part it looks the same as it did 30 years ago.

What a beautiful drive! Those are some nasty ruts in the road. Was there a house on the property? Or do you have to clear & build? I couldn't hear everything you guys talked about.
