You're the best hedgehog! You're the one that convinced me to play mag-fed instead of hopper by showing me that accuracy and patience dominates the field over fancy gear and good looks.
nice shot worthy of an wolf's top five kill shots. and yes I would of done the same as he did not show any signs of being an dead player and he could of been playing decoy.
I think you were completely justified in that shot. An in-game player without hand raised or barrel bag attached, in a key position is a threat. Only exception is the Marshall advised against it. Your skill as a sniper and confidence in your ability and equipment is what makes the best decision. Great shot!
Ash, If I was you I would have definitely done exactly what you did. confirm the shot with an inmate game ref, wait for a few seconds for a possible better shot, then took the shot. That was absolutely amazing. I hope one day to come across you in a paintball game.
Being a 90s Trracer user myself i would have no hope in making that 80 yard shot it would drop about 30 feet from where I shot although with your skill and marker, I would take that shot. Due to the fact of the play was not showing any sign of being out and some people stand with the refs to make it look like they are out when they are just having a friendly convo that doubles as a disguise. Either way great shots, love your content. Hopefully get to play with or against you at somepoint. Keep up the amazing videos.
I agree with your between the marshals shot. no marker no hand up perfect cover for enemy player. your too good a shot not to have taken that. one of the best shots I've seen by a sniper and your a damn good player, wouldn't mind playing against your team a couple times
Another awesome vid with awesome kills ;) I've been in that same predicament. There was a player talking with a reff behind cover with no indication that he was hit. I popped a few at em and was just about flipped off. Turned out he was hit and wasn't pleased I shot at him, but I wasn't pleased that he gave no sign he was hit. Keep those hands up boys!
Loved the story! Better to be safe than sorry - you can always apologise afterwards and give your reasons. If you'd accidentally hit an umpire, it was his fault for not enforcing the rules about the target being active or deactivated.
That's a tough one... I would have continued to watch him and if he made a move to the building then I would have taken him out. It would be a pain to chat with a ref and have a hand/marker up the whole time. Awesome video as always
Good job again mate, i really love watching your videos as they are in a completely different style to lots of other paintball and airsoft youtubers and you just deserve so many more subs that what you have. #headshottinghedgehog keep it up champ:)
From my experience in playing scenario paintball in Eastern Canada, I would have done exactly the same as you did: take the shot on that player. However, there are a few points to make to explain why: 1) If that player was already marked out, he should not have been on the field and hanging around his ref'ing friends when they were actively ref'ing a game. He should have been off the field and waiting his time out in the rest area to get back in the game. 2)If he was still in the game, that player should not have been using his ref'ing friends as cover, especially for that advantage point. 3) The two refs should not have allowed that player to stand by them (using them as cover) while actively playing the game. He should have been told to move away or continue moving along while playing. 4) If he was previously marked out of the game and was allowed onto the game to watch as an observer with a ref escort, he should have been dressed the same as a game referee, not like a player. So, even after talking to another official game ref who was with you, you took the effort to make sure there was a clean shot available to take out the opposing player without hitting any of the two refs with that player. So, yes I would have taken the shot as you did.
I would've taken the shot. If a player does not have their hand up I treat them as a live player. It doesn't matter if they're talking to a marshal as even live players will talk to marshals at times, not to mention that some people will try the "dead mans walk" trick. If you don't have your hand up when your out, you can't complain when you get hit. Oh and on a side note, yes you may say so when it came to that running throat shot. It was fantastic.
great shots all the way through.i would have took the shot befor i knew i was telling you to take the shots aha an would love to see how u made that into a magfed as well.stay hidden✊
just started watching your videos a few days ago dude. i just got into paintball myself. your videos are wicked sick love the sniping. i did have a question since im new im considering getting a tippmann cronus tactical to start off with any thaughts on it?
After discussing the situation with a field Marshall, and getting a clean shot, your good. I'd have done the same thing, excellent shot, one shot, one kill.
I would have taken the shot. You can never be sure if the signs are not visible. if have done it just to be sure the position was not threatened any more than it already was. plus, it was a bloody good shot! nice shooting man👌
I would have shot too!! He could have easily been using the Marshals as cover to watch the playing field. As always good shot and great video. Keep up the great work brother.
Hey hedgehog...wich barrel did you mounted on your hammer 7? Thanks a lot ;) btw: You did the right decision in this situation ;) no hands up, no marker up, still in the game
I think your the best paintball sniper. you also motivated me to try paintball when I'm older. I watched the opening of your Channle and you motivate a lot of people. do what you do and keep it up. please notice me to lol.
Iv got to say man iv seen almost all your videos and I'm a referee myself totally would have taken the shot completely worth the risk I love your videos there just so mutch different than from all other videos but that's what makes your videos great ceep it up love your work man
Too damn right for taking the shot. He knew there was a sniper in game so shouldn't have been having a chinwag in the open mid battle. You going to north v south ash? if I go it'll be my first paintball event
Excellent sniping bud 👊🏻😉 i think you were right in taking that shot... the player didn't have his hand up and he could've easily been in play shortly after that and may have taken you or your teammates out.
Sweet shot man! I would have done the same! First I love shooting enemies! Second the enemy player was giving no sign ( gun up, hand up or dead rag) that he was out. Third the game refs were not protecting him in a way that would suggest he was dead. Lastly if he was out and you shot him, WHO CARES?! It would be his fault for not giving a sign that he was out. Also getting bonus balled is all part of the sport. I'm an airsofter and I get shot all the time when I am out, no need to get mad about it. I love your videos, even as an airsofter. Anyway great shot and keep up the good work. Airsoft Mandalorian ,_)--
There is a growing problem I've seeing with guys who dont keep their hands or guns in the air. The guy could have been asking for a "paint check" and rules differ on whether that would count as a kill but I'd have taken the shot myself. What magnification scope do you use?
I would not have taken the shot unless the ref says it's good to go. I stand and talk to refs about things and don't have my gun up. That was a damn good shot.
thehiddenhedgehog Any quick tips for someone who might be playing paintball? The beginner tutorials i have watched all said to wear long sleeved clothing and long pants. However, i live in Singapore and its hot here
It could but if it's your first time you really shouldn't worry about those things. Chances are that just by not knowing what the hell you're doing you are negating any kind of equipment advantage you could have anyways. Just focus on having fun.
Yes, definitely! If that player was already out of the game, he wasn"t following the rules (still in the field and no marker up in the air, or any hand for that matter). That calls for the assumption he"s still playing. Fair game.
I would have took the shot. If he has no marker then fair game. He looked like he was overwatch from that position as you can tell none of the teamates we're near by so he could have been giving information to others. Great shot. You did the right thing
I would have took the shot to because just like you said a single player could devastate your team if they sneak in. I wonder if the hidden hedgehog will even see this?
you did the Wright thing I would have done the same thing ......because I did something similar to what that guy did a I brock through the other teams difference and opened there back difference to you dI'd a good job
I would've shot to reason why? bcuz lyke u said in game that one person can devastate tha whole team ... my question for u is wuzz he in game or a dead player??
if u don't call urself out or give any indication your out (holding ur marker/gun up, or putting ur barrel sock on, or even a hand up), your free game on a live field.
Could you try some day airsoft, now don't get me wrong, I ain't that guy who only wants airsoft and hates paintball, I would just love seeing and hearing the differences on how you play, shoot, communicate and stuff like that. please look this comment up, I would be so happy:)
A threat is a threat. And the best sniper is the one who keeps the enemy away from his team. Better safe than sorry. Keep your team safe. Take him out of the game.
i was playing at a local field ans saw the owner talking to a ref ontop of a hill, he was playing for the other team and compleatly destroying our pushes, i took that shot and would do it again if i had the chance
Well if he's in game, and isn't signalling that hes out, Id have also taken the shot. However if he was already out, then it would seem to me the marshals weren't doing their jobs properly.
The Facebook preview of this video brought me here. Yea. I would of done the same, better safe than sorry. Especially when at risk with intel/espionage happening. If he was legitimately just talking to the refs, his barrel sock/cover should of been on and/or shouldered up. Or something
No marker up, no hand up. Fair game.
lol that shot with the marshalls i want to hear the conversation after the shot
Same haha
You're the best hedgehog! You're the one that convinced me to play mag-fed instead of hopper by showing me that accuracy and patience dominates the field over fancy gear and good looks.
- Battle Photographer
lol... Thanks for leaving me in at 6:50 hehehe
SoHo52 I noticed you too, nothing more cinematic than a camera man in front of you lol ;)
hahaha... spoilt it... didn't I!
you did the right thing i would have done the same thing. good job bud
This makes me want to play so bad. I hate how hardly anyone where I live play paintball.
same thooo
nice shot worthy of an wolf's top five kill shots. and yes I would of done the same as he did not show any signs of being an dead player and he could of been playing decoy.
Stay hidden!
Also, I'd take that shot 10/10 times.
tough shot! the range your getting is incredible
So glad you took that last shot Hedgehog!! As always great vid!!!!
Impressive gameplay, was awesome to watch, you seriously hammered any of their attempts to attack. Keep it up man, awesome stuff!!
I think you were completely justified in that shot. An in-game player without hand raised or barrel bag attached, in a key position is a threat. Only exception is the Marshall advised against it. Your skill as a sniper and confidence in your ability and equipment is what makes the best decision. Great shot!
Good shots Ash!
I like to see Jay on command to.
Is nice to see players working together!
Ash, If I was you I would have definitely done exactly what you did. confirm the shot with an inmate game ref, wait for a few seconds for a possible better shot, then took the shot. That was absolutely amazing. I hope one day to come across you in a paintball game.
Take the shot, no raised hand, no raised gun, fair game. Great shot by the way man
Being a 90s Trracer user myself i would have no hope in making that 80 yard shot it would drop about 30 feet from where I shot although with your skill and marker, I would take that shot. Due to the fact of the play was not showing any sign of being out and some people stand with the refs to make it look like they are out when they are just having a friendly convo that doubles as a disguise. Either way great shots, love your content. Hopefully get to play with or against you at somepoint. Keep up the amazing videos.
Awesome video as always!! loved that running shot! The feeling when you get one like that is so insane!
Nice shot i thought you wee going to hit one of the Marshals when he walked in front of that guy.
I agree with your between the marshals shot. no marker no hand up perfect cover for enemy player. your too good a shot not to have taken that. one of the best shots I've seen by a sniper and your a damn good player, wouldn't mind playing against your team a couple times

Good stuff bro. Without you we would never have gotten the players on the left. Round ball was just not cutting it.
I will say the was an amazing shot but what made it better was that you got him despite having 2 marshals next to him good on you
I miss paintball so much. Your videos are helping so much!
Cool video to accompany as incredible event! Was certainly an experience playing for the blues against ones such as yourself! Epic time was had!
I love your Chanel. ...
In Brazil we have many problems, but we love paintball...
I so enjoy watching the head and neck shots....thanks for those!
What rifle are you using?
First Strike T9.1 Sniper FS Rifle
It's a spyder hammer 7, he has a video about how he modded it with a airsoft stock and literally just dropped the hammer 7 in it.
The Hiddenhedgehog how do you not have more followers? Your videos are some of the best on TH-cam
5:27 when playing paintball, it's also recommended not to casually stroll across the field in front of an enemy-held position.
Pat Best 😂
That's a tough one... I would have continued to watch him and if he made a move to the building then I would have taken him out. It would be a pain to chat with a ref and have a hand/marker up the whole time. Awesome video as always
I've seen 90 seconds of this video, and I already love it!!!
Good job again mate, i really love watching your videos as they are in a completely different style to lots of other paintball and airsoft youtubers and you just deserve so many more subs that what you have.
#headshottinghedgehog
keep it up champ:)
I love this guys videos it feels like a real battle simulation
I got a job as a paintball marshal other day , first game of paintball in years was good fun , hopefully i can try magfed sometime
No marker up, no hand up ,no kill band on that is absolutely fair game
From my experience in playing scenario paintball in Eastern Canada, I would have done exactly the same as you did: take the shot on that player.

Totaly right shot!!! player in game and in a advantage position!
I noticed that you don't use, to my knowledge, any barrel porting on your gun. Do you think barrel porting is unnecessary?
firstly, AMAZING shot. Secondly heck yeah, take the shot all day. love your stories Hedgehog
OMG!!!! That was a great video 👍
And yes you did the right thing by shooting him at the end
No hand or gun up. You're fair game! Awesome vid!
What the name of the scope Camera your use?
I would've taken the shot. If a player does not have their hand up I treat them as a live player. you're awesome videos make me happy i hope you're youtube channel keeps getting bigger
When is your npf bassetts pole footage up?
beautiful shots!!! I would have taken the shot at the end as well, no hand up fair game.

Thehiddenhedgehog I have resently started paintball just like you thanks for getting me intrested in paintball where did you get your gloves
Iv got to say man iv seen almost all your videos and I'm a referee myself totally would have taken the shot completely worth the risk I love your videos there just so mutch different than from all other videos but that's what makes your videos great ceep it up love your work man

What a shot! How, Just how
Hedgehog you should make your on brand on markers and paint balls.
Love your vids
Excellent sniping bud 👊🏻😉 i think you were right in taking that shot... the player didn't have his hand up and he could've easily been in play shortly after that and may have taken you or your teammates out.

Yet again a quality video, keep it up!
What happened to the wood stock on your sniper? looked so much better in my opinion
Have you considered getting a lapco fsr filed barrel and palmers stabilizer reg? It would drastically increase accuracy and consistency at long range.
*rifled
I would have done it. That could have possibly been a shot that could determine the sway of the game because as you said he had a good vantage point
Great shots man and great video.
There is a growing problem I've seeing with guys who dont keep their hands or guns in the air.
The guy could have been asking for a "paint check" and rules differ on whether that would count as a kill but I'd have taken the shot myself.
What magnification scope do you use?
5:28 There he is!! The shooting star guy!!
You were right about that shot like u really never know tbh so Ig just take the chance u have
I would not have taken the shot unless the ref says it's good to go. I stand and talk to refs about things and don't have my gun up. That was a damn good shot.
thehiddenhedgehog Any quick tips for someone who might be playing paintball? The beginner tutorials i have watched all said to wear long sleeved clothing and long pants. However, i live in Singapore and its hot here
It honestly doesn't hurt that much. Barely even feel it when the adrenaline is pumping. Maybe just put something around your neck and some gloves.
It's not just about protection, clothing can stop a ball from breaking, allowing you to stay in the game.

Fair game.
Just out of curiosity how do you aim through a scope with a paintball mask on I tried it and I couldn't find a good position to see through it
I would have took the shot. If he has no marker then fair game. He looked like he was overwatch from that position as you can tell none of the teamates we're near by so he could have been giving information to others. Great shot. You did the right thing
how do you do that sniper scope thing. it is so cool
Karma baby!!!
War Sucks!
...but the sound is cool!!!
Greetz from Garmania
Flex
Good shot man ^^
Would have done the same, but Im only playin' Airsoft
I would have took the shot to because just like you said a single player could devastate your team if they sneak in. I wonder if the hidden hedgehog will even see this?
I would have taken the shot... Even if you miss and hit a marshall, that is part of the game. Love your Videos, Keep it up
i would have done it simply just to be sure plus he could have just been scouting and trying to blend great shot
Issac said it but I love your channel too
you did the Wright thing I would have done the same thing ......because I did something similar to what that guy did a I brock through the other teams difference and opened there back difference to you dI'd a good job
I would have done the same thing, you where definitely right on for that shot
:) thank dude
Good shot mate, he was fair grounds..
you are the best sniper ever
I would've shot to reason why? bcuz lyke u said in game that one person can devastate tha whole team ... my question for u is wuzz he in game or a dead player??
love you channel and back ground music
what rifle/sniper do you use?
What is the rifle you are using?
if u don't call urself out or give any indication your out (holding ur marker/gun up, or putting ur barrel sock on, or even a hand up), your free game on a live field.
Wich mount do you use for your GO PRO ?
it's always better to be safe than sorry. take the shot
Could you try some day airsoft, now don't get me wrong, I ain't that guy who only wants airsoft and hates paintball, I would just love seeing and hearing the differences on how you play, shoot, communicate and stuff like that. please look this comment up, I would be so happy:)
hidden hedgehog what gun are you using
What's up with the enemy team? They walk around like zombies oblivious of what's happening around them!
I wouldn't take the shot purely because the paint at my local field isn't accurate enough. Stuff dimples like crazy.
A threat is a threat. And the best sniper is the one who keeps the enemy away from his team. Better safe than sorry. Keep your team safe. Take him out of the game.
i was playing at a local field ans saw the owner talking to a ref ontop of a hill, he was playing for the other team and compleatly destroying our pushes, i took that shot and would do it again if i had the chance
i thin you're right because he didn't had his hand raised and would do that to
Well if he's in game, and isn't signalling that hes out, Id have also taken the shot. However if he was already out, then it would seem to me the marshals weren't doing their jobs properly.
Ok not to hate or anything but this is a fun game you make it sound like real WAR
The Facebook preview of this video brought me here. Yea. I would of done the same, better safe than sorry. Especially when at risk with intel/espionage happening.
If he was legitimately just talking to the refs, his barrel sock/cover should of been on and/or shouldered up. Or something
