iirc the version in the donghua is technically called "xianyun", only the one from the audio drama is called "wangxian", and even then, it's not really an "official" version, just the audio drama's take on it

Anyway, there's a person who translates the novel as well, his/her instagram is chiaki_himura, in the bio you can found the link, she/he has it up to chapter 89 BUT it's an unofficial translation, because she/he is not profesional, is not as exact as exiled rebels but I couldn't wait for the translations xD

I have a head canon where lwj actually composed this melody specifically for the flute so wwx could play it. Purely on the basis of my opinion being that the melody sounds better suited for the flute. idk thought that seemed cute 😆.
