- Thanks for checking out the latest review! This time, we're looking at the reformulated Arcadian Styling Pomade. This water-based product now offers a firm hold, low shine, and it's water-soluble for an easy rinse at the end of the day. After using it quite a bit, I've concluded it's similar to, and better than, Blumaan's Fifth Sample Pomade. This will be one pomade you won't want to miss!

Arcadian Styling Pomade Product Comparisons:
Blumaan Fifth Sample Pomade: Similar levels of hold, shine, and water-solubility and both even feel somewhat similar in terms of consistency. I would say Arcadian is a bit stickier, can hold a slicker style somewhat better, and is a better overall value. You get more product, with even healthier ingredients, and it performs slightly better in terms of overall hold and styling.
Templeton Tonics Summit Pomade: Similar hold, level of shine, and performance characteristics. Arcadian is a bit stickier, a bit shinier, and more water-soluble. Templeton has less shine, a bit more versatility, and more scent options.
Root & Muddle Pomade: Root & Muddle is slicker, lighter in hold, and requires shampoo to remove. However, I prefer Root & Muddle's scent.
O'Douds Standard Pomade: Similar levels of hold but O'Douds is slightly lighter, far slicker, and far shinier than Arcadian. - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต

Fifth Sample works very well for me, so I'm looking forward to trying this one out! Low shine but still slick enough, firm endurance but soft feeling to the touch (for me at least 😂), and then Arcadian is better value for money?! Perfect!

Sounds like it could be compared to odouds multipurpose pomade with better washability.
Basically, with even a touch less shine.
i used to love the old formula. it was very unique and my go to after shaving for quite a while (cause i got that really nice natural & not too tight hairstyle from it, which i prefer in combination with a shaved face. and the scent did fit my after shave lotion perfectly).
i actually tried many many other pomades and pastes but nothing really came close to the style i got out of this.
so first i was kinda disappointed when i heard they were gonna reformulate this, but i don't really mind now, cause a while ago i rechecked the ingredients of all my pomades and arcadian uses a couple of ingredients i don't believe are necessary and that good.
the main one is microcrystalline wax. it seems to be bad for the environment and also not good for hair or skin on the long term 🤷♂️
How it is compared to crystal lake in hold and shine ??

I though Arcadian products were made in a lab ?
They have a “lab” where they basically homebrew at a mass scale. Eric, the owner, still makes the products but he does it in his own space with lab equipment.
Spruce & Sharp ohh ok, would you compare the waxiness of this pomade similar to Tribute by Dauntless ?
Lil Debbie no, more like their regular Pomade. Tribute is too slick
