Hello Becky I’ve been watching your videos since I was around 15 im 17,now and I still love watching them especially your garden and harvesting ones. I just started my own small garden because of you. Thank you, Lots of love from Texas❤😊
Put a UTILITY SINK in your growing room Becky! They're super inexpensive ($99 and up) and available at Lowe's and Home Depot, etc. You have hot and cold water lines in the room, so very quick, easy & inexpensive to have a freestanding sink! 😉
I think she should build a cool gardening she shed and do all of her gardening prep there. That way if she gets another gnat infestation it's not in the house. This keeps things far cleaner. When it comes to cleanliness some of her practices make me cringe.
If you end up having an extra bed with no ideas, you should do a flower chaos garden bed!! Just mix a bunch of old flower seeds and throw them and see what happens!!!
Sweet pea was my childhood nickname from my grandma. It was her favorite flower. She always grew them. After her funeral, dad and I cut some of her flowers and dried them. She has been gone 15 years and I still have her framed dried sweet peas hanging in my hallway.
Hi Becky, try planting peppers in a block(peppers like to touch) also pick off your first pepper on a plant when it’s about 1/2 size. It will help the plant set MANY more peppers. (From a professional market gardener)
I second this! My peppers germinate wonderfully when I bunch them together lol (or from my compost pile haha) and it does help to pick off the first pepper. My plant spent more time getting bigger then bloomed like crazy! 😮
Becky, check your sprayer to see if it has a mister. When working in a greenhouse nursery, I learned to water with a mister so the seeds wouldn't move.🌞
Becky, I am just in love with you and your videos. I’m 70 years old and I wish there was somebody around like you years ago that I could’ve learned all the wonderful new things I’m learning. Sweet peas are absolutely wonderful. They’re my favorite flowers. And they smell heavenly. A small side note sweet peas that you grow in your garden have a heavenly smell, but wild, sweet peas. Don’t hardly have any smell. i’m so glad I found you on TH-cam. I have started pre-prepping a lot of the things I make now and I am just loving it. thank you for all the things you shared, and will keep on sharing. Thanks again, Julie.
Hi Becky, I always plant two pepper seeds (plants) together. My granmother did it that way, she said they can provide some support each other when there is windy weather. So, if they have enough space in the bed you don't need to "kill" any pepper plant. It works for me. I plant them together, don't divide them if both germinate. Greetings from middle Europe ❤
Most people sterilize their seed starting mix, but not actual compost or nutrient dense soil. In seed starting mix, there are no beneficial organisms, but your compost does, and the boiling water will kill everything. Did you see somewhere where they sterilized good soil? I’d like to understand better.
I have currently started my seedlings in soil that I didn't sterilize (I never did) and now I have rot on all my trays 😢. I am devastated... that never happened before. And now I have to start all over again. However, seedlings should be started in low nutrient soil in order to 'stress' them to build more roots. I never give them compost right away and I'd never sterilize that.
I was thinking the same thing. From my understanding it’s either sterile seed starting mix that’s “livened up” with fertilizer or hot water sterilized soil that, again, needs fertilizer added. In this case it’s a nice idea of using compost with all those nice living goodies in it, but for an indoor sterile-needing environment sterilizing compost seems like a lose-lose? Maybe I’m missing something!
Pickled Italian eggplant has been a family favorite. Just a great opt once the harvest comes in. Also babaganoush is a delicious dip made with roasted egg plant. And another family favorite is breaded egg plant parm. I think egg plant has been one of my favorite things to grow. They put on a beautiful flower.
Lol, I am exactly the same and I have been gardening for 50+ years - I hate culling my seedlings, it is like murdering a favourite child, ok, a bit over the top but you know what I mean. So I take the weakling seedlings and grow in a separate tray and usually end up with a wonderful tray of totally mixed flowers and in my experience, about 75% of the "weak" seedlings, grow and blossom. I also feel very righteous! Years ago, I used to work in a nursery and every evening I would go to their compost bins and rescue the ones the nursery threw out. Most of them survived with TLC and brought me more joy than my purpose sown seeds.
We slice eggplant long ways and thin, place on paper towels, generously salt and let sit for several hours. Rinse the salt and pat dry and use the slices in place of lasagna noodles. Salting the eggplant removes the bitterness and excess water. It’s also delicious battered & fried (like tempura style) as well as roasted with other veggies. I’m excited to see everything in bloom!
Sweet peas are one of my favourites to grow, so easy and last for ages if you don't let them run to seed. A vase full will fill the house with a wonderful scent.
Hello from Maine, Becky! Lupine grows wild here and is most abundant. I have it in my gardens as well, because I love purple. My mother-in-law taught me two things about lupine that I think you might find helpful. 1. Lupine does best if you plant it in the fall, not spring. 2. Lupine planted from seed doesn't bloom until the second year. Good luck!! Love your channel and content, keep up the great work!❤
Yes EGGPLANT. I’ve wondered about why you haven’t grown it. We had beautiful eggplant but we had a tree that gave them some shade. When we moved, we had no shade and they didn’t grow well. My favorite eggplant recipe. Cut a good 1/2” circle, keep skin on. You can take the point of a knife and just go down the eggplant lightly to cut the skin. Fry in ur favorite breading. Put 3 cooked slices on a plate add provolone, seasoning hot ricotta and tomato sauce. You can broil a minute or two. So good.
Hi. With sweetpeas, the more flowers you pick the more it encourages growth! You can get dwarf or climbers. I'm in UK and find the more sun they get the better they do. I save a handful of seeds for the next year at the end of the growing season. If you start them off in toilet roll tubes you get good strong rooted plants. I think you'll love them!
Hi Becky, I also love sweet peas. They are easy to grow, smell heavenly and are beautiful. The cool thing about them is that the more you cut the flowers the more prolific they are. Thanks for all of your videos. It really feels like you're just chatting to me. Love from the UK x
Don't sterilize your compost! That undoes all the good stuff that compost has, and is a waste of money. Use a different growing medium as seed starter if you want to sterilize it.
The more Sweet pea flowers you pick, the more flowers you will get. Leaving the blooms on the Sweet peas will make the plants run to seed. Sweet Peas have a beautiful aroma. Can you get Night Scenting Stocks in the US? You scatter a few seeds around your patio where you sit in the evenings. Flowers are not very pretty, but the aroma is fantastic. As the sun goes down the aroma from them appears. Wonderful. Xx
Hi Becky! Sweet peas have a beautiful perfume. You will love having them in your house. I used to grow them as a child, and loved cutting them for my Mum. X
Hi Becky from Queensland Australia. We love our sweet peas here. We soak the peas overnight before direct planting into the garden. Enjoy the beautiful colours and scents. You have inspired me to grow more and preserve what I grow. Love your videos. Thanks so much.
Hi Becky. I just wanted to let you know that your video today was incredible to me. I was having the garden doubts, and you somehow made it all better. Thank you!❤
Lupine self seed like nasturtiums. So annual yet perennial. We learn as we go. We are all feeling the same anxiousness. We don’t want to fail! You are a rockstar Becky!
My garden for my third year! I’m growing so many peppers and just fun plants. The last two years I’ve had 100 plus tomatoes and I decided in going to focus on carrots, beets, celery, onions and garlic. Along with planting pear trees, peach trees, blackberry, raspberries, goji berries… I’m just so excited for this year. My third year is the charmer I’m claiming for all of us home gardeners this is the year of abundance!
Hi Becky , my mom always had sweet peas in our backyard along the fence . They came up every year they were so pretty and they did smell nice . My mom had flowers all over the yard . I honestly loved the Tulips and the Irises . My dad grew roses so beautiful but I loved the simple flowers. My mom also had a giant lilac bush that I loved . The smell of lilacs is amazing . Good luck with your garden I so enjoy your enthusiasm. I really enjoy your posts thanks for sharing.
Sweet peas smell lovely, oh Lupins are so beautiful too.. I really like the way tooth pick picks up the seed, very ingenious. You have some beautiful flowers Becky,
My favorite is Lily of the Valley! I grew up in Queens, NY, and every May for my birthday my Mom would cut them and put them in a small water glass as part of my gift. They made the whole house smell fabulous!! The other part of my birthday gift was Eggplant Parmesan!! I now am a FL transplant, and I can't grow them here, I've tried. 😢 The lilies like the cold weather.
You’re right. ♥️ From my childhood homestead I have Hosta , lilies, Iris and tall phlox and I just love them. Mom and I did flower beds every year together and my Dad and I did the main garden. Everything I know about both are because of my parents ♥️♥️ I was the last of 7 kids and the only one that just HAD to be in the dirt. 😄. Best thing EVER added to my gardens was my greenhouse. I have only one raised bed made from giant stones for my herbs, the rest are in ground and one window box on the kitchen window for my fresh herbs 😊. Spring is wonderful. Everything is new after a long winter slumber ♥️ It’s perfect in being GODs New Year ( Nisan ) and when the frogs start singing 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰. Just fills my heart 💜♥️💕
My daughter and I have been starting seeds today. I planted some broad beans in the garden. I need to plant out my onions tomorrow. We got peppers, aubergines, tomatoes, spring onions, kale and Swiss chard done today indoors. I'm excited to get my herbs and flowers done tomorrow as well.
Becky you mixed your compost with the compost you added hot water to kill Infestation. You took it right out of the bag and put it on quite a bit of your little block holders .
The perennial sweet pea is unscented but very pretty & it will grow up every year. With the others you need to remember to pick the flowers as they come or the plants will stop flowering. Once they set seed they'll consider their job done. They are so pretty and bring wonderful memories of my mum and grandmother's gardens. I so hope the eggplants are successful- they are so delicious and versatile for veggie recipes! I am really picking up your excitement with all the seeds.
Can’t wait to see all the beautiful flowers in your garden this summer! Love all your videos! And your comment section is so fun because this community is special. Such kind, encouraging people who love your channel as much as I do. 😊
Hello Becky. Your easy and natural style of communication is a joy. When I watch your cooking videos I get in my kitchen and start cooking. When I watch you starting your garden seeds I get out my seeds too. 🥰 Thank you for the motivation and so much enjoyment.
Hello Becky eggplants are wonderful in Greece we make mousaka which is totaly delicious ! We also roast them with feta cheese , chopped parsley ,balsamic cream its a dream!!! Plant more than two plants they dont have pest problems and they grow realy easy ! Best of luck for this season!
You can cut sweet pea and take it indoors . I adore them but they make me sneeze if I have them indoors. They are so beautiful. They are a companion plant for runner beans x
Lupine, so lovely. Pronounced lew-pin. There is a charming children's picture book called The Lupine Lady about a lady who scatters the seeds to make the world a more beautiful place. Children love it...from a retired librarian. Good luck with the garden!
My nearly 86-year-old master gardener mother, wants me to tell you to be sure not to plant your hot peppers too close to your sweet peppers. Otherwise your sweet peppers will come out hot. I'm sure she came by that information the hard way. She just plants them at opposite ends of the garden. ❤ ❤❤❤
Good Afternoon FriendS ❤ My seedlings are doing awesome 👏🏻 ❤ Can’t wait for our last frost date!!! Yippee 🥳 Hope your seedlings are growing and growing 🥳
The love you have for peppers is cute, my heart hurt a little as you were deciding what to grow out of your pepper selection as you had SO many to choose from! Lots of luck to you sweet girl!!!! 🩷🌱
You will LOVE Sweet Peas. Fo Siak for the Full Time. Really Helps Germination. Plant them thicker than they say. Bunches of them together are Glorious versus Lines
Sweet pea is one of my favorite flowers since I was very young. I’m 68 now and I have such fond memories of my dad specifically planting these flowers for me.
Becky you have an old soul. I have learned so much from you. I still watch all your losers videos when you were just starting TH-cam. You are genuinely excited from your cooking to your canning. I get excited with you. Keep up the great info and work. Just don’t let yourself get too run down! ❤
I love the soil-blocking idea. It seems like such a great way to start seeds, and I think you're right, way easier to pot up or put in the garden!! Becky, you're sooo right about the sun, smell of the soil being soooo good for mental health! (I also love the smell of tomato vines! LOL) Thank you!
Jess at Roots and Refuge says peppers and tomatoes both tolerate being separated as seedlings so if more than one germinates just separate them when you up pot and you'll have more to share with family and friends ❤
So many new things in your garden this year! 🤩 I know you'll love the sweet peas,I hope you enjoy the eggplant too. They are one of my favourite vegetables. As an Italian, we eat them quite often. Cubed and fried and add tomato sauce for a delicious pasta meal, sliced and grilled then marinade in olive oil, garlic and parsley to keep in fridge as a sandwich or cracker topper or a side, stuffed and baked in the oven, chopped up with peppers and onions then roasted as a side with meat dish... Oh! Use as a substitute for lasagne sheets for a low carb option. Pairs very well with anything garlicky, tomatoey or cheesey and cooked till soft and translucent 😁 So versatile.
It's so fun to watch what you are doing and use your activities as a guide to what I need to do. I'm in Portland, and as I continue gardening, it's so true that we get more confidence with experience. When you use the small soil blocks it's so much easier to sprinkle the seeds with vermiculite instead of soil. Mine have germinated and are growing well. Maybe give it a try and see if it works better for you? Keep on! Appreciating your videos!
HI Becky, Sweet Peas are my absolute favourite and the perennials grow abundantly here in the UK. I have always been taught to soak the seeds in water as the casing is quite tough and it just takes more strength for the seed to sprout if you don't. Also the more you cut, the more they grow, so fill up your vases and enjoy the beautiful scent.
Nice to see you get so excited about flowers, my mom loved her flowers her flowers were well cared for, she told my dad not to give her bouquets, so he bought plants, we had a beautiful yard. Keep up the good work you do, love everything you do. ALOHA
Becky, plant all of the milkweed you can. It is the host plant for the monarchs butterfly. Without this plant the monarch larvae would never mature. The Vining plant is considered invasive weed growing back every year on fences, gates and posts. So many people don't like weeds and keep killing them off. The monarch is becoming Indangered in some areas because of not enough milkweed. Please plant alot for the monarch are also great for bee honey. I planted some around some poles away from my veggie garden to keep their fast Vining habit from choking around other plants
A little indoor growing tip, the seedlings need a little breeze to prevent dampening off from water on top of the soil. We use those small computer fans. We hope this helps because we've had great germination in the past only to lose seedlings to fungus. We hope this helps you to have success because you have helped us so much with your ideas and skills making the most of what you grow and buy. So inspiring and appreciated!
I am so ready to see this beautiful summer garden! I can’t have a garden and don’t have a kitchen where I live, so I enjoy living vicariously through your videos. Thank you for the amazing content and future inspiration
Becky, just happened to find your videos and having SUCH fun watching you and Josh. Sweetpeas - you won't BELIEVE the aroma of those flowers. I've been growing them for over 35 years (which is MUCH older than you). The more blooms you pick, the more flowers you'll get. Each bloom will obviously form a seed pod (that looks pretty much like a regular pea bod), so initially you don't want them to 'go to seed). I pick flowers until the bottom of the greenery of the plants starts to go yellow, I then leave all blooms to create seeds for next season. I've been harvesting these seed year on year and have shared with SO many folk that pop into my house (family, friends, clients). I'm in South Africa, so I sow in April - they're lazy to germinate (I do soak them overnight so that it's easier for that seed to germinate - it has a tough exterior). But once they do start growing they cling onto anything provided (no help needed as long as you give it something to climb). ENJOY those amazing blooms and keep creating your fun content. You're a talented young lady - thank you for sharing you knowledge. Much love.
Sweet pea has a beautiful smell, when they bloom the more you cut them the more they bloom…..With all the packets of sweet pea you will be sharing them with others if you keep cutting them.❤️🥰
Hi Becky, try a mister spray bottle. They don't have to be pumped so much and the spray is gentle and sprays longer. I have a few of them and I love them.
Becky, I am feeling it, I think this year is gonna be your pepper year. Much like last year was you zucchini and tomato year! The siblings are looking good, I think this year is gonna be your best harvest year yet! In all fronts. With a healthier soil than last year, with more knowledge and prep, you are bound to a amazing start ;) Thanks for taking us along with you in this adventure!
I love this video...so informative. I felt like I was beside you as you were planning everything. Sweet peas are one of my favorite flowers. My Grama was born in April so it's her birth flower and therefore she grew the multi color variety of annuals each year so they would bloom by her birthday. She planted them along her garden fences so they made a beautiful nature wall and the fragrance is lovely. She passed away from Cancer in 1999 and the day after she passed all of her sweet peas bloomed but they all came in white that year. My mom and aunts harvested all the seeds and passed them out at her funeral so now my sweet peas come from that very last planting from my Grama ❤.
Oh, Becky! I'm so proud of you and happy for you - what an amazing thing you're doing for you and your family! As an aside, I had a "very bad thing" happen which I may have legal recourse for, but I'm struggling. If you and the rest of the Acre Homestead community have bandwidth to add me to y'all's prayers, it would be much appreciated.
Becky! Sweet pea flowers are absolutely my favourite flower! My mom used to grow them and the smell reminds me of my childhood- you are going to love them so much!
Becky, I think you are going to really like the egg plant. Egg plant Parm, grilled, stuffed, roasted, etc. Many, many delicious ways to cook egg plant.
You will love the Anaheim peppers! They are much like a Hatch chili pepper. For the first time last year, I canned "Rotel" tomatoes (with diced chili peppers) and have no regrets! We like spicy food, so I use these a lot. I also roasted my peppers first and then peeled and chopped them and put them into 4 oz containers and froze them. Again, no regrets!! The small cans of chopped chilis you buy at the store are 4 oz cans. In addition, I roast whole peppers, freeze them individually on cookie sheets and then transfer to gallon freezer bags so when I want to make chili rellanos or anything with whole peppers, I just pull the desired amount out of the bag, run them under warm water to peel the skin off (while still frozen works amazing) and then let them thaw and de-seed them before use.
I grow arugula every year. It germinates fast ! Don't be surprised if you can't keep up with it! I love your enthusiasm & ideas!! Writing to you from Camano Island, Washington
Becky! I'm so excited to see the bounty and the BEAUTY that your garden produces this summer. I am in Central Washington (high desert climate. HOT HOT in the summer and can be FREEZING COLD in the winter.) So although we have somewhat similar zones, some of the things that are perenials for you are only annuals for me. But it's great to watch your garden's progress. I grow eggplant every year even though I am the only one in my family who likes it. The rest of the family will eat it if I make Eggplant Parmesan but it's not their favorite. Eggplants are really hardy and easy to grow and I think that they are beautiful. So they will always have a place in my garden. I do have a bunch of friends who benefit from my love of growing eggplant. 😄 Enjoy the longer days and improving weather.
My grandmother grew and cared or a big garden every year until she was 96. She always used Kentucky Wonder pole green beans. They are FABULOUS! Hope you try them.
When you said that the sun and smell of the soil does wonders for mental health, I connected to you so heavily. I built my first raised garden bed last weekend and for some reason the hard work aaaall day and the cuts and scrapes.. they felt good. They felt humble. They felt like the price you pay to do honest work. I didn’t mind any of it. While I worked, I didn’t think; while I got dirty, I felt like I was being cleansed. And I thoroughly crave more. I cannot WAIT to get plant my seedlings outside and get dirty every day helping them to grow. More so, I can’t wait to expose my kids to it. We had a lesson about earthworms while creating the bed that was very educational and a good bonding moment. My middle boy enjoyed getting his hands right in and helping me mix the soil, my oldest boy did an excellent job at evenly watering our hügelkulter layers down perfectly; we have very minimal settling in the bed!! The impact of Earth is incredible 🩷
Per Rusted Gardener, you can plant two of the same pepper plants together! I've been doing it for the past two years and always have an abundant pepper harvest!
It's so much fun watching you grow as a gardener and seeing what you end up growing each year. You are doing an amazing job! Isn't it a miracle that you can plant tiny little seeds and they end up growing into food! I have gardened for 30 years, and each year still feels like I am new and learning. It's part of the reason I love gardening so much. Last year I grew 30 varieties of peppers because my brother loves peppers. We wanted to try all his dream varieties and we had so much fun. We got to preserve them in his favorite ways. This year we were really excited to try new varieties and new recipies, but tragically, I lost my brother in a motorcycle accident a month ago. I will be starting my peppers in a few days and will plant his favorite varieties in his memory. Gardening not only gives us good food. It can help us heal.
Dear Becky, I've planted some Lupines in my garden years ago (which were also said to be perennials) and they have self-sown ever since in the same area 😅. Also I harvest the little seeds from their pods each fall so I gain my own seeds to gift every year 😊
I love seeing all the different seeds you get. I would hate to have to choose which ones to grow and which ones don't grow. I would need 40 acres for just a "garden". Good luck this year with your garden
Hello Becky I’ve been watching your videos since I was around 15 im 17,now and I still love watching them especially your garden and harvesting ones. I just started my own small garden because of you. Thank you, Lots of love from Texas❤😊
I'm so excited to see this from someone so young...hope your garden is a delightful, huge success this year and you are encouraged to keep going!
Do you have a TH-cam channel? So exciting to see a teenager interested in gardening!! Very cool.
@@marygrott8095I’d love to see this too.
I think it’s wonderful that you are starting to plant a garden at so young an age. You are awesome! Best of luck to you.
That is wonderful!! Best of luck with your garden!!

If she did a low one, she could wash the dogs in there too.😊
Costco as well

❤ that idea.
Love the name, flower chaos!
Excellent idea!
I ❤ this idea!!!
That's a beautiful chaos I guess.

How special!
That is so lovely! What a lovely reminder of your dear grandma. Sweet peas are just divine!
Such a special item to have!
❤️❤️❤️❤️

I need to try pulling off my first pepper. I read a comment on here about doing this.
Becky, check your sprayer to see if it has a mister. When working in a greenhouse nursery, I learned to water with a mister so the seeds wouldn't move.🌞
The boiling water kills the good bacteria too.
That is what I was wondering
It does, but you want an inert substrate for seed germination anyways

Hi Becky! Sweet peas have a beautiful perfume. You will love having them in your house. I used to grow them as a child, and loved cutting them for my Mum. X
I love the excitement in your face when you are sewing your seeds.❤
Hi Becky from Queensland Australia. We love our sweet peas here. We soak the peas overnight before direct planting into the garden. Enjoy the beautiful colours and scents. You have inspired me to grow more and preserve what I grow. Love your videos. Thanks so much.
Hey Becky
It's your forever home..
So it's good that you are figuring the garden out now rather than later.
Remember to grow what you love to eat👍🏻
Becky I can’t wait for the summer garden❤
Hi Becky , my mom always had sweet peas in our backyard along the fence . They came up every year they were so pretty and they did smell nice . My mom had flowers all over the yard . I honestly loved the Tulips and the Irises . My dad grew roses so beautiful but I loved the simple flowers. My mom also had a giant lilac bush that I loved . The smell of lilacs is amazing . Good luck with your garden I so enjoy your enthusiasm. I really enjoy your posts thanks for sharing.
I am living vicariously thru you! I'm not in a season of life where I can commit to keeping more living things thriving.
Prayers, positive energy and affirmations your way!
Sweet Peas are magical! I use them so often in bouquets. The beauty and aromas are unmatched!! Love them. Definitely require some strong trellising.
I love sweet William flowers. I live in Manitoba Canada and here they are a bi-perennial.
Sweet peas smell lovely, oh Lupins are so beautiful too..
I really like the way tooth pick picks up the seed, very ingenious. You have some beautiful flowers Becky,
Becky peppers like to ‘hold hands’. If two come up leave and plant in garden like that. You don’t need to separate. They will do fine together.
Hi Becky! Lilies are super easy to grow and they come back every year bigger than the last year. They bloom all summer long.
I appreciate that you educated viewers about the peas without sounding rude.
I noticed this also, should have dusted with perlite or vermiculite as this let's the light in
The perennial sweet pea is unscented but very pretty & it will grow up every year.
Balsamic Cream? Sounds amazing!
Miss Rumphius, will look for it!
It feels so good welcoming the growing season again❤
My nearly 86-year-old master gardener mother, wants me to tell you to be sure not to plant your hot peppers too close to your sweet peppers.
Otherwise your sweet peppers will come out hot.
I'm sure she came by that information the hard way.
She just plants them at opposite ends of the garden.
❤ ❤❤❤
That’s only if you’re saving the seeds. This year’s peppers will be fine.
@@leahwithheld783
I'll let my mom know that this is a gardening myth.
She never saved seeds.
😊
Good Afternoon FriendS ❤ My seedlings are doing awesome 👏🏻 ❤ Can’t wait for our last frost date!!! Yippee 🥳 Hope your seedlings are growing and growing 🥳
The love you have for peppers is cute, my heart hurt a little as you were deciding what to grow out of your pepper selection as you had SO many to choose from! Lots of luck to you sweet girl!!!! 🩷🌱
I would have grown all the peppers
sweet peas are beautiful and smell so good🌹🏵🥀🌺🌻🌼🌷🌱🪴🍀☘🌿♥
You will LOVE Sweet Peas. Fo Siak for the Full Time. Really Helps Germination. Plant them thicker than they say. Bunches of them together are Glorious versus Lines
Sweet pea were my Mam's favourite flower. They smell amazing and the colours are stunning 🌸
They have always been my favorite too. They grow wild all over my area in Oregon.
Sweet Peas are my favorite! They are so pretty and they are a good cut flower too!
Yes, soak the sweet pea flowers seeds.
Apparently pepper plants like to be planted with more than one together. They like to grow with a friend 🙂
Nice to see you get so excited about flowers, my mom loved her flowers her flowers were well cared for, she told my dad not to give her bouquets, so he bought plants, we had a beautiful yard. Keep up the good work you do, love everything you do. ALOHA
So nice Becky to see you out in the sun gardening ! Anticipating your carrots!!! 😊. I love them!
Becky, plant all of the milkweed you can. It is the host plant for the monarchs butterfly. Without this plant the monarch larvae would never mature. The Vining plant is considered invasive weed growing back every year on fences, gates and posts. So many people don't like weeds and keep killing them off. The monarch is becoming
Indangered in some areas because of not enough milkweed.
Beckyyyyy! ❤❤❤
I love all your videos. But the ones regarding gardening are definitely my favorites ❤
Much love.
Sweet pea has a beautiful smell, when they bloom the more you cut them the more they bloom…..With all the packets of sweet pea you will be sharing them with others if you keep cutting them.❤️🥰
Sweet peas grow really well in a trench lined with newspaper , the covered in soil ,at the base of your trellis
I’ve grown Anaheim’s and I find the flavor is much better frozen than canned. I broil and skin them and put them in the four ounce jars. So worth it.
Hi Becky, try a mister spray bottle. They don't have to be pumped so much and the spray is gentle and sprays longer. I have a few of them and I love them.
Thank you for all of your videos. You brighten many peoples day! ❤❤❤
Your grass is so green to still be February
Oh my sweet peas are stunning! They are so delicate and smell amazing and the more you cut them the more they grow ❤
Sweet William and sweetpea, your garden will be beautiful as well as full of produce ❤
I Love watching you doing garden stuff. Brings back memories of working in the garden with my grandma ❤
Oh Becky it’s sad that you’ve never seen sweet peas in real life! They are my favorite spring garden flower! Enjoy!
Sweet peas are beautiful and fragrant. The more you cut them the more they grow. During the summer I always have a post in a vase in my kitchen.
I cannot stress enough just how much I've been looking forward to this specific video!! YAY
you could plant perennial sweet peas along your fence
Hi Becky. I'm very excited for your garden again this year! Those seed packets are the most beautiful ive seen! Gorgeous pictures. 💐
Per Rusted Gardener, you can plant two of the same pepper plants together! I've been doing it for the past two years and always have an abundant pepper harvest!
You are a pleasure to watch.
Eggplant is so versatile
Watching your videos has gotten me into starting my own garden!
