- Here are my top beast mode winter fragrances, or what I like to call 'One Spray Wonders!'
DISCLAIMER: My usage of the word 'oriental' is meant only to describe a fragrance's style as warm/spicy/ambery and/or woody. This term was pretty common and acceptable for describing a certain style up until recently when it started to become a somewhat offensive derogatory term. When I educated myself on the history of the word a few years ago, upon that study, I realized that it does have negative historical connotations, and is not an appropriate word to use when describing a person or group of people. However, please know that this word is still my default when it comes to describing objects, or perfumes that have that inspiration or that style. Please know that I would never have it in my heart to offend anyone, nor have I ever judged anyone based on their skin color, ethnicity, nationality or religion. That's one thing I can say about myself. I am a person of many flaws but one thing I can say is that I have always treated everyone with respect and tact unless their actions or behavior towards me or towards others gives me a reason not to. I have lived amongst people of many different backgrounds throughout my life and thought nothing of their race when describing them as people.
I only form an opinion and judge others based on how they treat others, not just publicly, but also how they treat them when there aren't as many people around. Simple as that. I've never judged someone's intent or judged their character based on their ethnicity, race or nationality, or what their hobbies and interests are (given that they're 'legal' interests and hobbies lol) or what kind of music they like to listen to or media they intake. While I am aware of history behind the word 'oriental', I figure it's ok to say it as long as I am describing a fragrance/object, and not a person or a group of people. If this is now unacceptable, I apologize if I offended anyone, and will work to limit my use of this word. Thank you! Appreciate you all :)

I just love your channel. You review fragrances that are so classic and classy. I love Narciso Poudree. One of my top favorites. I have the Maison Alhambra dupe, called Narissa Poudree. I have all of the Narciso Rodriguez dupes from Maison Alhambra actually. They are all spot on. My top favorite is the Narissa Ambree. Lawd! Soooooo freaking good. You have excellent taste darling. I think you described me with poudree lol love that description my son calls it a mom perfume it does have that soft safe feel to it, I love love love Ansaam although I can only enjoy in colder temperatures I personally think it’s similar to Oriana it has the sweet fluffy dryer sheet vibe, I need to sample the Jo Malone after your description 😉

It was love at first sniff and if by chance you don’t care for oud, worry not, because there’s practically no oud in here, which is more than ok with me! ☺️ it reminds me a lot of a more refined version of Nina Ricci L’Extase Absolu, which I also love but it can pull a little too sweet on me sometimes

Hi there! Thank you so much! It's a YSL Vinyl Cream lip stain in the shade 409. Super long lasting, I want to cry when I look at YSL's ever increasing prices though, and I agree with you, It does look very much like the Clinique Black Honey lip gloss! Once I run out of this though, I am just going to opt for Clinique or something similar to give me this same look, because YSL is getting way too expensive for what they're worth. I was able to snag this product on sale for $19, regular $38. They hiked the prices of their lip products up and it retails for $45 now, same as Chanel. Dear goodness, I wouldn't repurchase it even if I could afford it 😵. But yeah that's what it is. Sorry for the tangent 🥴 Thanks for watching! Happy new year! ☺
