Bales are looking good for feed.. cattle look happy and on the corn cracking or not.... i look at it .. if it comes out the other end whole its doing no good and that goes for cattle to 😂😮😊.. stay safe 🏴
Thanks for the update Travis. Just curious why don’t you use your hammer mill with a screen with the large holes in it that way it wouldn’t be turned to powder and be a little more like cracked corn and a whole lot faster to produce?
Hi Travis, keep up the interesting vids! Watching yours and Ryan’s channels since the beginning. What i just realized is that the large building which was used for the dairy is not often mentioned in the vids, it is however a sognificant structure on the farm. Are there intentions of re-utilizing it for other purposes in the future? Machine storage, workshop? Or is it not suitable with some minor adjustments only? Thanks
Isn't there well established academic literature out there on the relative benefits and downsides of processed vs whole corn as cattle feed? Given the scale of the cattle industry in the US, I'd be shocked if that (what seems to an outsider to the business as a pretty fundamental) topic hadn't been extensively covered by many researchers getting their PhD's.
Thank you for the video Travis. Nice looking cattle and really nice looking hay.
Always looking down checking for corn coming out the back of the equipment. 😂 thanks for the update.

Thanks for sharing your cattle update. They certainly look contented. Beautiful cows you have there. Wishing you and your family the best.
You are correct. Racked corn will digest more efficiently. I was always told, The proof is in the patty.
Good stuff nice looking cattle
Thanks for the update. Wind breaks are often overlooked, but they do a great job of improving conditions for the cows.
Thanks Travis!!!!!!!

Thanks for the video
Feed, cattle an everything else looks good 👍🏾.
Travis any talk on getting a new manure spreader to speed up cleaning the lots?
As long as the bales are tight when made and twine or wrapped will last several years

Thanks Travis! How's your battles with pink eye (between you and Ryan?)

Would it pay to tarp the bales of hay for winter snow by the barn? Your hay looks good. Are you ploughing a part of the valley still?
I don't think Travis knows what he wants to do like working up some of that and reading it probably depends on if knows can get the rain
Than hay is even dairy quality
That's what Travis wants even Ryan though Travis doesn't mind making some not so good hay
Why don’t you use the harvestore corn unit?
Pretty sure the harvester needs work that they don't want to spend

Do you ever use molasses with your cows?
Not often
