A fun DND video series I’ve been watching is ‘Adventure is Nigh’ on The Escapist channel, and I highly recommend it. They almost never enter combat because one of the players is basically a con-man and always tries to talk everyone out of fighting, with varying degrees of success.

People were absolutely brutal on the don't starve series, by season two the fans were frustrated, but at least they weren't being downright toxic about it, but you look at the comment sections on the first videos and people were literally like 'I hate Rick, he ruins it for everybody by dying so much" like god damn, people are assholes
It's a pity that that you don't want to play games due to toxicity, although very understandable, but such a loss for all of us(including you) who love the playthrough you do on those games

I will admit most fanbase communities can get pretty toxic and you would never really get to any endgame stuff, I just enjoy watching you guys play that game for the conversations , personalities you’d create (Price) and the inevitable fire and chaos. You guys did a pretty good job of testing your chances at new bosses or ones you haven’t seen. As long as we could see the content I’m sure no one would mind if you re-rolled a day of death for the continued enjoyment of Don’t Starve Together. 😇💛

Mmm. I do agree community games can get rather toxic at times. I have enjoyed Don't starve and Terraria as well both for certain community things too. And it would be hard to keep a clean community at times with such a big audience and community, unless you also setup a way to filter out those games and keep trolls out, like some do with VIP discord sections or Moderation of roles in discord too. I usually do it with friends and such, as I like doing games with friends, but I'm also anti social in a way, so it's hard to connect. But I do like the Stumpt community some for how they love to encourage people.
Y'all can do the movie commentary on discord by broadcasting it! Unless y'all are concerned about discord tos but I doubt there's nothing on screen sharing a movie?! You can make a Stage Channel on Discord and broadcast the window to watch it?! Just a suggestion
The game communities are getting more toxic the longer it existed to be honest. Just looking at the fandoms of the games that I'm into, a lot of them are either cringe, offensive, or very disturbing. I can't comprehend why random peeps "criticizing" your gameplay on Dont Starve when, like you mentioned, the videos is back years ago. I never even know what the term "Meta" is until just this year where a hoard of mindless accounts suddenly goes and degrade someone else playthrough in a game community that Im lurking in. Like, if you're that disturbed by how other's play their own playthrough then just do it on your own playthrough instead of attacking someone else in the internet for not giving you satisfaction through the game. A game is not always meant to be a perfection and we dont care if you're able to collect all the secrets and hidden paths in the game. We're playing our own copy of the game so we like to have fun with a liitle bit of chaos. Done sharing my thoughts jdjshdjsdjhhshdshjshdjs But all I have to say for last is that we love all of your gameplays and commentaries in your videos. Tbh with me on podcast i usualy watch videos as podcast where i only listen to audio and the play like a game on my switch and if there is like a loading time i can look up and watch for a bit but with actual podcast there is nothing to watch so i think they're just boring like youre d&d (uranium chef and hero squad) there is not enough for me to look at to keep me interested

Gonna be honest about don't starve There are a decent ammount of early game additions as well. Farming reworked made it an early game tool. Rather than late. They are adding some in game tools as well granted they are SHITE. I am a wiki diver though so it makes it easier for me. If you try to play again I will help with informational comments I garrentee it. I understand though not wanting to play it again. The community is toxicly stupid. They get mad at you for doing something that isn't bad. Flowers for example are heavily argued in the community on wether you should pick them or not and people scream at folk who pick flowers. I just hate it. Avoid dst community
OK so I totally understand the whole toxicity comment about the Don't Starve community n so on, but when you guys say it's 'wiki-based knowledge', then do 1:14:10, where the text box above your head with the coins has up and down arrows to tell you to tilt the stick up or down, like... I know it's the disadvantage of a) having multiple people talking in the same room as the game and b) trying to make content about a game so you miss certain things, but come on...
