Keep dying in self and living in Christ. He rose from the dead in order to give us the Holy Spirit so we could have help in becoming more and more like Him. This is not a Spirit of fear and slavery but a Spirit of freedom from sin. Don’t forget to feed your soul with God’s word every morning and pray to Him all the time. He will help you through it, trust Him and keep asking Him and keep living in Him. Ask Him to give you strength to get you through your days. That's really amazing, I work with a lot of drug addicts and relapse seems to be a revolving door that appears to never stop. It's amazing how Jesus breaks addiction and heals mental illness and all the pain. Praise God for your freedom!!!

I am alive by the grace of God. I’ve survived a stroke, a blood bacteria and lymphoma cancer. I’ve survived all 3 of them, how crazy is that? I give God all the credit for my surviving everything, I should be dead but I’m not. You need to thank God for every day you wake up too. Because every new day in your life is a gift from God. Everything you can do is a gift from God. Everything you have is a gift from God. I should have not survived my stroke, blood bacteria and my cancer too. One of them should have killed me. I thank God for every day I’m alive. You can be in the medical field for several years and not meet 2 people who have survived all 3. I was in a wheelchair after my stroke. When we go through adversity in our lives many times we get angry at God for allowing us to go through adversity. But God is working in our lives in the adversity. God is doing 1 of 2 things. Either God is using that adversity to make us stronger or teach us lessons when we go through the adversity in our lives. When you go through adversity put your faith in God to get you through it. Not to rescue you out of it, but to be with you through it.
Shared this with a good friend who had left the church and God due to addiction and believed that he was unworthy of being a child of love. Praise God, he broke the addiction and my friend was able to return and share his testimony this last week at church which influenced many of our young people. Way to go WTK!!

Thank you for sharing your story. I have been clean for 14 years and just in the last year or so have I been free from depression. Can I suggest to you to read the Bible. That is what set me free from depression. I pray you are completely healed from depression.
Thank you everyone for your support and encouragement! I do read my Bible and that along with a great support group helps me greatly. It has been many years since my depression took me to a place few recover from, but God is good. My dry bones, well, having worked in ministry several years I have encountered many who go through dry spells. But God knows how to breathe life into me again and music does that. So does photography. Thank you for your kind words thry mean so much! And I pray complete healing as well!

Just saw We the Kingdom in concert last night and was born away at the talent, stage presentation and heart felt quality of their music and lyrics.
I got to see them at WinterJam for the first time. I was really just there to see Disciple and my wife loves Andy Mineo. I too was blown away by their performance. Their lyrics are anointed, and their 70's vibe really does it for me.

I thank God for every new day. Because you never know what day will be your last day alive on Earth. Praise God for every single day of your life. Give God all the praise and credit for you being alive one more day. Don’t take anything for granted, because it can all end in a split second. Your life can change in a split second. Mine did when I get a phone call informing me that I had tested positive for cancer. My 1st thought was, “Please tell me that you have the wrong diagnosis or person of diagnosing with cancer. But nope they got the right person and the right diagnosis. I HAVE CANCER. Now what do I do? My 2nd thought was, OK God, how do WE get through this together? My attitude was, That by the grace of God I’m going to beat cancer and survive. And I did. I got a blood bacteria after my 1st round of chemotherapy. I had to survive that to then survive my cancer.
This Friday May 3, 2024 my Earthly father died. My dad was a pastor for over 60 years. My dad over a raised over a ton of vegetables over the years for a food bank in Fargo, North Dakota. My dad didn’t talk about his faith. He lived it everyday of his life. He had such a deep love and compassion for people who were homeless or hungry.
My favorite Christian band! I love the style of We The Kingdom, and the music is wholesomely worshipful.

I still struggle with alcohol after coming to Jesus in 1979 at 22 years of age. Such a hard road, sometimes go for weeks, some times for months, even several years, but when the next crisis hits, I fall. Like 5 deaths in my family inside 2 years. It's not easy when one is weak! I so (and please excuse the word) ENVY those whom are SET FREE immediately once Jesus is in their hearts. I just repeatedly ask The Holy Spirit "Are You REALLY Within Me??) Anyway, what a band! Hey good afternoon brothers & sisters, I have some exciting news to share with you!!!!!! GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!!!!!!!!
Do you ever have the heart burn Or interjection at times 🔥 in your stomach / throat area? I have taken acid reducer pills for around 20 years. Every day and some days 2 - 3 pills per day & tums, & last several years I have taken prescription acid reducer pills. I started having food getting stuck in my throat, (Jeff a friend of mine) told me to read Psalm 91 over and over while eating, & I started to read to myself. There was some resistance @ first, but soon the blockage was free, & within 10 days, i was only quoting Psalm 91 : 1.!!
I have taken less acid reducer pills in last 90 days now, I got a 90 day supply first of August 2023 & now October is almost gone and I still have 75 + pills. I have taken 1 prescription acid reducer pill about every 7-8 days, that was the count 2 weeks ago when I counted pills left in bottle. TUMs I'd eat them like I had stock in the company. !!!!!! When I get that burning 🔥 heart burn feeling, I'll start saying Psalm 91, & before I get to the end of verse 16 of the chapter. The heart burn is finished, gone !!!!!!!

In my car delivering pizzas while listening to K-Love when this song came on several times. For the first time, I noticed this song has a classic Imperials vibe to it, from say the late 70's or early 80's. I could almost imagine Russ Taff singing lead to this song.
