Sir ..my OBC NCL Rank is 38k HS - WB ..I have checked all last year cutoffs and In those I'm getting civil ,MME,mining ..till csab ...but this year in round 1 the cutoff of IIEST and NIT DGP drastically increased ...like last year a branch closed in 28k ,this year it closed in 24k ...I'm fearing a lot ...please tell whether I'll get it or not

Sir, as every engineering branch have its own importance so as Mining Engineering too, Mining is not limited to coal digging, it’s has huge scope like from finding resources to till space science technology, even now days NASA also hiring students from Mining branch, as well as whatever the resources companies in the world they need such guys, even for underground Metro we need them, and as far as placement concern we have seen that this branch used to get highest package more than 50 LPA also have a average package of rang of 15 To 18LPA. Dear viewer, this year out of 11= 8 students got placed & out of it 3 were placed from campus itself. As far as average salary so it ranges from 3.90 LPA TO 4.80 LPA. Companies like ITC, Parle Agro, Mondelez were for placement ( we are not sure about companies as it’s a 3rd party data). Keep watching & best of luck for your future.
