I'm really beginning to like the sound of this piece of gear...your good self and Leon really do the biz when it comes to showcasing, explaining and demonstrating gear...keep up the very good work✌
The cat "amp capture technology" is so out of the box right now that I think it's already a selling point for digital pedalboards, so cool that soon we will see what line 6 or boss has been cooking all this time.
I keep waiting for the next great thing to come out in the modeling world and yet the Ampero II sounds great...But the real star of this video is the Charvel, I've been eyeing that Henrik Danhage model for a while 😉
i have the stomp 2 , its quite good ! if this feature comes to it would be cool to have your profiles, i use one of yours Irs on my patch , sounds KILLER live !
Just bought a Stage II last night after seeing your comparison to the QC. I just can't see any other models competing in terms of features and value to price. Super excited to play around w this thing! Excited to use the capture on my live MT15 rig!
@ you’ll prob be happy either way you slice it. I’d guess the Ampero will have a more user friendly UI and will cost less but have comparable tones. Not sure if Headrush offers profiling as well? Either way, all these modellers are high caliber these days.
@@transmundanemusic I am at the phase of reading reviews online. The prices of the units change from country to country. For instance Helix units (even HX stomp) are extremely expensive here. HX stomp is double the price of Boss GX-100 (to give the idea). Headrush flex prime and Hotone Ampero Stomp is around the same price so they are comparable. I heard the amp tones in Ampero are inconsistent. This is said in the online reviews that: some amp models are top notch and some are below average quality.
@BigHairyGuitars I guess it's the horse and cart argument. Nobody will buy the unit if the captures aren't there and nobody will buy the captures if there are not enough people with the unit .... Looks good though and may be a worthwhile switch from Tonex especially.
I have to say that being a Kemper Ex user.. This setup blows away the Kemper! And that's why I sold my Kemper! And thank you for showing how to capture the tones! New follower here!! Have a blessed day
The last time I looked at the Ampero range the Flagship product was the Ampero II Stage, and this is a different product. So, does the model you are demonstrating only have the Tone Capturing or is it on other models as well?
May have missed this but is this a no brainer over the Stage II? i mean its $100 less and you get the expression pedal but Im just wondering if Im missing something? I was about to buy a Stage II, im just a home player that wants to upgrade from my Atomic AmpliFire 3.
I asked that question when talking with Hotone. Why the price difference. One of the big things is that the Stage II has bluetooth connectivity, and they use a very high quality blue tooth component. There are a few other things as well. BUT, it really comes down to the form factor... what works better for you. If you never use the expression pedal and want bluetooth, then the Stage II is for you. If you don't care about Bluetooth, and want to save $100, go with the Ampero II.
@@mangoesDB I probably would as well but im a livingroom rockstar and im sold on the potential of the Stage and now the II and theres not that many used ones on market so Im hoping for a Black Friday deal and just get this new one. I wouldnt use Bluetooth that much. Also having the expression on the unit would be so much better as Ive got carpeting and my Cry mini isnt easy to activate without a solid base.
I have the stage II and I find Bluetooth a godsend. Just sitting on the couch dialing in presets without having to hunch over the unit on the floor or having to hook it up to a computer. I got a cheap sonicake expression pedal that works perfectly. I will be using it live so the extra footswitches do come in handy when selecting scenes in a preset.
@BigHairyGuitars That Hot One is pretty cool, almost got one. My brother has one for vocals. I ended uo getting AX8. I like all the switches. I ended up not using the Fractal Cab. I use my stereo Two Notes Torpedo Cab M IR DI boxes. I used it last week only having about 24 hours. I got things 80% setup. I send non cab split to Rocktron Velocity 120 and stereo split 4x12. The rest of the band thought it sounded close to my EVH 5150III EL34 50 head. I am keeping the fx loop open for using the stereo blocks of pedals of my board. I have Digitech Polara and Eventide Black Hole with my Two Notes Torpedo Cab Ms ....
Honestly, that Mesa capture sounds *at least* as good as anything I've heard from the $1500-2000 units.

That Henrik Danhage Charvel suits you well !
Thanks! It's such a fun guitar to play!
I’ve been thinking of picking up one of those guitars.
What a tone in the intro.. crazy to get that from such an affordable (yet greatly built) unit.. amazing work Hotone..
Every new video just makes me want a guitar collection video more and more 😂 great as always, sir!
This capture sounds fantastic!
Is Hotone's capturing technology modified NAM code, like the Poly Ample and ToneX?

Now THAT is some TONE!!!!!
Man...I'm a Kemper owner, but that's a really impressive capture...

Wow it works, sorry about the last question.
Great playing, super cool sounds. Quick question @BigHairyGuitars: can you use Tonex captures in the Ampero?
No, I think you can use Tonex captures in ST Rock's Amperium, but not in Hotone's Ampero.
i have the stomp 2 , its quite good ! if this feature comes to it would be cool to have your profiles, i use one of yours Irs on my patch , sounds KILLER live !
Damn thats a nice charvel !
could you please share this capture? thks a lot
sure email me
Nice, do they have file?tone sharing software?
Guys, help me plz. Ampero II or Ampero II Stage? I need a unit like this for practicing at home and for the rehearsal room with the band.
What about dynamic , can you turn the volume down and it clean up ?

headrush flex prime is being released. I am between these 2 models.

Are you going to start to sell captures for this thing too?
I might start with a couple packs, and see if there's any interest

Does this also work on the Ampero 2 Stomp?
I don't think so YET. I *think* they might be able to add the ToneCatch playback to it, but you'd have to load in the files from a PC.

New Firmware update released for the Stage adds this functionality :)
@@feelsmall315 That's fantastic news!!!

Fisher Price is going to make "My First Modelor" soon....
At this rate, you might actually be right!

Today I got fully ready for my band's music. I will try the fx loop the following week.
Time to unload the old Axe Fx. This is a cheaper alternative I think.
Love that guitar just wish they’d vary the relicing instead of the same for every guitar. Awesome playing per usual!
MUCHO HAN PAGAOOOOO los neuralssssss$$
Dear Michel: pls stop it. My wife is not gonna be happy and Im gonna start sleaping in the couch with all this buying gear. 🤣
0:05 Headrush Flex Prime enters the chat…
Definitely a contender as well.
most people say headrush core is better than ampero stage in tone quality.
