Many khmer people does not understand the real doctrine of the bible and just write any song they please which is so wrong to sing as part of worship. Without knowing what is the true worships is all about. No good. Read and study the bible in dept before making a fool of oneself.
No copyright is needed for traditional tunes. It is not wrong either to write worship songs using traditional tunes. Even many western hymns use secular tunes. For example, the Christmas carol "What child is this?" uses the traditional tune "Greensleeves". The carol "Hark! The herald angels sing" also uses a tune from a Mendelson's opera. Even king David, when he composed a chapter of the Psalms, he used a popular tune called "My son is dead". In the end, God looks more into the heart of the worshipers rather than in how they worship him materially.
