Props to your uncle. Uncles are great! I had an uncle who somehow was able to get comic books after they got taken off the racks at supermarkets and newsstands so it exposed me to more than just the few marvel titles I could afford in the mid 80s. I started on baseball cards too in 87 but only lasted till 89 bc I chose comics instead
@@johnmp3828 Hi John! This same uncle actually introduced me and my brothers to comics, too. I dabbled in comics, but baseball cards stole my heart and all my cash, lol.
Hi Jim! I need to see if my parents still have that picture. I was so proud to have my picture taken next to that thing. I hope it is still there, lol.
Uncle Wayne killed it with that gift! So cool Danny. My 1985 Royals beat those Cardinals in an all Missouri World Series. Sure glad there was not instant replay in 85 because Don Dinkinger blew the call at first in game 6 or there would never have been a game 7 for my Royals to win their first WS. Those 80's Cardinal teams were really good. Cool memories Danny. Thanks for taking me back to my own 80's memories!
@txhuntsman Awesome comment, Tex! It is amazing how extremely huge the World Series was to kids back then. I honestly didn't start watching until 86, but I do remember being pretty sad the Cardinals lost in 87. The memories are priceless. That was back before chasing girls, money, and success. The good ol' days!!
Hey Danny! What a great gift from your uncle! One of my favorite Cardinals logo. And love the off white color of it. I was disappointed in the Cardinals this season as well. Really enjoyed hearing the great memories from him giving you cards back in ‘87.
@Dcollection Thanks, brother. The whole premise of my channel is to go back to those feelings of being a kid and getting excited about cards (and outdoors). My uncle helped start me down the path. It's pretty cool to stop and reflect on that. Thanks for watching!
Hey, long time no comment! This was a stadium give away, kind of playing on the success of the Stanley cups that came back into popularity last year. I wasn't aware of your connection with the Cardinals, how fun! I was pretty disappointed in the StL season this year too. I'm sorry I disappeared this season. I was looking forward to rooting on the same team together. Life got pretty busy after we moved, maybe I'll share some of it in a future video. 👍
@PositiveBreaks Hi Curtis! Let me be the first to welcome you back! Yes, sir, the Cardinals let us down last season. It looks like they are making a few moves in the off-season. They were rumored to send Sonny to the Braves. I hope not. Thanks for the explanation on the cup!
@12againsports Thanks for the welcome back! I keep hearing rumors of big changes on the horizon for the Cardinals. I am hopeful they will be good changes to get back to winning immediately, but I fear they'll be more rebuild type of changes that'll take a couple years to bounce back. 🫤
The original Stanley tumbler- Still in the box. cool! I had the privilege of being in the dome, lower left field for Game 7 of the ‘87 World Series. That’s quite an item! Any idea how old it is, Danny? Thanks for sharing and Good Collecting👍❤️
@commentingcollector Hi Robert! You know, I am honestly not sure of the age, but I do think it is amazing. Now I need a Dizzy Dean one to go alongside it. That is amazing that you were at game 7 of that World Series. Seeing the Cards lose that series was tough on me as an 11 year old, lol.
Great gift from your Uncle Wayne! That Stan Musial Tumbler is sweet!⚾
Absolutely! This is a pretty cool gift. Thanks so much for taking the time to watch!
Great video and super gift from your uncle. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, Ed. It is super cool to have relatives who support and encourage you in the hobby. I appreciate you watching!

That is very cool and I love the backstory behind it. Thanks so much for sharing!
Thank you, Scott. Pretty cool of my uncle to send this my way.
What an awesome gift from your uncle! I want to see the picture of little Danny next to the Musial statue!

What a great gift to get from your uncle!
He totally hooked me up! Now it will be in my background on my breaking table. Very cool stuff!
That is very cool!
Thank you, David! The original Stanley cup!
Cool stuff
Thank you! Maybe there is a Jim Kelly one out there somewhere, lol.
That can hold a lot of sweet tea, but probably won't. :)
No sir, lol, maybe Kool Aid. Ha!!
What a great gift from your uncle, looks awesome! Have a great week!
@TCBsprtscards Thanks so much! The gift was super cool, and I think it fits in perfectly in my backdrop. I appreciate you stopping by!

I was not disappointed in the cardinals season. Wish they would have lost more 😀
@TonyBlack574 Your positivity is infectious, my friend. Sonny had a decent year, so I'll take it.
