- ► Koh Kret is a small island in the Chao Phraya River, just north of Bangkok. It’s known as a settlement of the Mon people - migrants from Myanmar (formerly known as Burma). The island offers 2 small temples, a nice little local weekend market, several little coffee shops, but most of all, it's famous for it's Mon style pottery village with numerous small family-owned shops.
There are no roads hence no cars on Koh Kret Island. All transportation is by boat or bicycle.
The pace of daily life on Koh Kret, is in stark contrast to the hectic life in Bangkok, which makes it a pleasant destination for a 1-day trip. I'm gonna show you a bit of everything in this video, I hope you'll like it - Enjoy!

This makes me want to visit Thailand, looks like an amazing, exotic adventure.
Good luck getting a visa, LOL.... It seems you need to be Chinese (prefeably from Wuhan), and guarantee you will spend 10 million baht per day, be quarantined at a 10 star hotel for a month and eat one kilogram of chili per day to quality. ^^
