DON'T TRY THIS! Toca Life World data erasing bubble tube bug glitch - Please fix Toca Boca

- ⚠️ You will lose your data just like a full world reset. Posting this video so others don't lose data like I have. This bug lost me 3 weeks of making videos and almost convinced me I needed a new device. I thought because my iPad kept crashing it might be time to update to a newer model (I have the original Air 2). Until Toca Boca fix this bug, please do not exit home designer scenes with anything floating in bubble tubes. If you do this, your game will reset the next time it loads the scene and you will lose everything. 😭

⚠I will say this one more time... Please DON'T TRY THIS! - You will lose your data just like a full world reset. If you leave anything floating in one of the new bubble tubes when you exit a home designer scene, the next time you visit that scene the game will crash and your world data will be erased. This is the reason for my lack of videos the past 3 weeks. I literally thought that my iPad had become too old to run Toca Life World because it kept crashing all the time. With every crash, I would lose all of my work and have to start again. I even started saving to buy a new iPad 😱 I then worked out what was happening and thought I had better let you all know before you suffer the same. The only thing which survives the crash are your custom characters, which is the same as when you manually reset your game. Please share this video on all socials and tag Toca Boca. Fingers crossed they will see what's happening and hopefully fix it in the next update.

@@cinziabezek2621 No, anything you ever pay for can always be recovered. You just go to the Toca store and click on restore purchases.

This happened to me twice and the post office where all the stuff is on the shelves they were all empty not one item I finally reset it today again and the post office is back to normal and my house and characters were not deleted idk how cus last time even my custom characters got deleted. But no glitches anymore 😅

Oh my goodness! Thank you sooo much! I was making an aquarium themed house and left the mermaid crumpet in the bubble thing, after that, I got things from the post office- went Back to the house - and my game crashed!! I went into panic mode and almost deleted my toca cause’ I thought that I’d Been hacked 😅😅I’m ok ❤
Glad my video helped, it's horrible when the game crashes because your first thoughts are always 'Oh no! Have I lost everything'. I really wish they would provide a way to backup worlds in the game. 💖

Click the reset button at the home screen too right corner you’ll see a rest button that’s orange click it and your gifts should be back,Also if your lucky like me you’ll get some bonus gifts.
That will indeed work, although will result in all world data being wiped. Not really a problem if you have already lost everything though, and it does seem to bring back any lost free gifts. 💖

Mine in toca boca, it doesn’t glitch and it doesn’t kick me out and the data of it is fine so it is because when i play toca boca in my grandma's phone it kicked me out irritating the toca boca so that is why we should never do that ever again at toca boca.

I think you are correct. At the time of posting the video it was very much a problem but I think Toca Boca fixed it around the beginning of 2023. Unfortunately it can take this long before a video goes viral and so it's only now that everyone is watching it. 💖

I already know this btw but ty for telling others bc it happened to me and I couldn’t get on the house it would just kick me off, it started making it to where I couldn’t get on toca boca at all for a day, and then we called toca boca after I reset my world when it finally let me on and they said it’s a very bad glitch and I had to redo everything in my house so I feel like toca boca should get on there themselves and see if it’s still a glitch and delete the whole light if it doesn’t get fixed and add a decoration with fish inside of it but it looks the same as the light to where you can’t put anything in it.
