Sorry about the LIVE that was supposed to take place this morning. I had some unforeseen circumstances happen that made me cancel and Tamika would not cut for me 😂 I will make it up to you and for now you can enjoy the second half of the seam opal parcel today instead. Next weeks video is going to be awesome though

I'm very happy you left the one at 23:00 as it is. The mix of the potch and color are beautiful. I know that the ultimate goal is to cut a rare precious gem with the most color, but I do like the odd piece that still tells you a story about where it came from and how it formed, instead of just "being pretty".

that last "picture stone" opal was, by far, my favorite. I like the pure cut opals too, they're pure magic. But the stones where you can see the "flaws" and such makes them more "real" to me, like they're still magic ...but magic you can understand. If that makes sense.

Justin thanks for the last couple of videos it is great to see demonstrated that all cuts do not work. As a fellow cutter it is always good to see that you are not the only one that has parcels that not all pieces turnout. We need to highlight this as you see so many people buying g parcels that do not deliver any quality. It seems to be more prevalent now with some of the rubbish people are trying to sell these days. I would not like being someone new and inexperienced entering the opal cutting arena today. I did a TH-cam presentation on some poor quality rough I had a while ago to assist any newcomers. Keep up the great work.

Good morning Mr Justin. When are we going to have a session on the rough cuts polishing. Actually it seems like a film without a happy ending. Sure it demands a a lot of dexterity to reveal the beauty of an opal, still the finishing of it is more mesmerizing.
