These are clips from the bayou of Louisiana, like the birds, alligator, racoon, and if I'm not mistaking, they caught a water moccasin there too. That or these clips was used for that video

Going to "relocate" a bear, from the swamp to the swamp? Lol! If it wasn't staged I'd say leave him alone, he wasn't hurting a sole

@16:00 Per Wikipedia "The show came under heavy criticism in the 1982 investigative piece "Cruel Camera" by The Fifth Estate, a news magazine program on Canada's CBC Television network, for staging scenes of animal cruelty. Several interviewees who had worked on Wild Kingdom confirmed the rumors that many of the sequences were staged, such as in the episode where Perkins and crew captured a bear in the Florida swamps. In fact, the bear had actually been "placed" there by the production. Perkins denied such allegations on camera, and when interviewer Bob McKeown pressed him, said, ''I'd like you to stop your camera right now, please."

I believe it. When you're a kid watching this, it's cool, but as an adult, it's so cringe. Anyone that watches this HAS to know it's staged, nobody found it odd that anywhere they "traveled" they always happened upon every single animal that that specific region is famous for? Or even the hippo one that they was so concerned about them dying because the water pool was drying up, so they was going to be heros and save them. First scene had hippos wallowing in thick mud and then second scene they go to dart the hippo and he says "it's going to be hard because they're in such deep pools, and then it shows the hippos in this huge body of water, then they dart the hippo WHILE IT WAS IN THE WATER, and after they got it out, they pulled the dart out, which got bent, and as they're loading it up he said, we chose this one because he was small. Sounds to me like they got a new addition to the zoo. Sorry, this whole show just ticks me off. Like in the bayou when they roped up an alligator and they both was yanking and magically they "tripped" and was flopping around with the gator, while one guy pulled his role on his side and the other on his side. That gator was minding his own business. You can tell many clips are shot in a studio

@@lynnleigha580I mean of course, with the technology available in the 60's it was literally impossible to create such epic scenes with animals. Definitely staged but still amazing to watch at that time
