I tried this for the first time last december and it turned out great. My only issue eith it is that the chicken pastel itself turned out to be runny after baking although it was thick and creamy before it was cooked in the oven. Does anyone here tried chef's recipe and encountered the same problem? Anyone have a solution? I followed eveything to the T. I think after baking the milk curdled and the sauce separated because of the baking process.
I tried this also to specs. Chef didnt mention the crucial time of simmering bec it affect the chicken cook quality. sabi nya simmer simmer lang. And also the 1/2 cup of flour is a lot !! and only to add 1 1/2 cup of stock .. kulang yun... then simmer ? edi tuyo na or i will get too thick to cook the chken .
