IMO, Babymonster is the only group to ever come close to 2ne1 when doing covers NOT because they’re from the same company, but vocally speaking… they’re the only ones capable of belting it out without changing the vibe of the song. I’ve seen few groups when they cover 2ne1. They’re capable in some ways, but not quite, that’s why some of them change the vibe of the song to something cute, or sultry, or girly, to adjust to those groups’ vocal range. But that’s never the case for BM. If the song requires belting, they belt. Needs power? they deliver. And all while maintaining the powerful impression of the song. ✊🤙
YG's tactic on promoting BM to Blackjacks is working! I love these girls so much! And BJs now have no problem in spending money on their albums and merch We're just busy to participate in social media presence and engagements, and BM is lucky to have the younger fans to do that for them. And now BM is also lucky for us uncles/aunties who became a fan of them bc of 2NE1
